Dr. Sorett is the only person who I trust with my life and career. While his patient for a decade, he tolerates my popping in from around the country and around the world. He helped my husband stop smoking. The head RT treats me like family. You can be sure that whatever test he orders is only to tailor the most effective treatment. No matter what imprudent thing I do, all he cares about is that I can breathe. You will not find a more caring and trustworthy doctor, and his knowledge and dedication is unmatched. Dr. Sorett is literally worth flying across the country to see, and if you are closer, the drive.

I have the same comment as the other writer. I went to him for a persistent cough, he told me I had acid reflux and recommend the same as the other writer. ? Recommended Pep AC. I find this very strange, I had bronchitis! He has no bedside manner at all and doesn't seem the least bit interested in you. You spend about 10 minutes with him, but 2 hours in this office. It's a mill. Examination, listening to your lungs is minimal. Breathing test always a must. I guess them make $$$ on this test. Time to find another doctor.

I've been with Dr. Sorett for almost 25 years now and he's the best doctor that I've ever known. He's kind, compassionate, and an excellent diagnostician. He's saved my life more than once and I've never hesitated to recommend him to friends and family. If there's a wait it's only because he takes the time to talk to you and make a connection and figure out exactly what's wrong with you and what the exact right course of treatment will be for you. And isn't that why you're there to see him and what you want in a doctor? There aren't enough stars to give him on this site. Go see him. You won't be sorry.

Saw Dr Sorett for a lingering cough, he knew just what was wrong and prescribed medication, felt better in a few days, the wait in the office was a little to long but worth the time.

Dr. Sorett is a wonderful doctor, who cares deeply about his patients. Despite having a very busy office, he and his staff are extremely kind and as accommodating as possible.

This place is like a factory! As a new patient it took 4 hours for this appointment. The doctor runs from room to room seeing too many patients at one time. He gave me a quick exam, glanced at my records and made an incorrect diagnosis on the fly. After non-stop coughing for weeks, he diagnosed me with Acid reflux and told me to take Pepsid AC. Three days later when I could hardly breathe for coughing, my GP sent me to another Pulmonologist. He gave me a thorough exam and I was diagnosed with Bronchitis and possible MAI based on the same records that I had brought to my appointment with Dr. Sorret. Thank goodness I didn't fall for his ridiculous diagnosis of Gastro Reflux!

Yes, it sounds corny. But only until you have an appointment with this doctor. After a LONG line of horrible experiences in New York medical offices, Dr. Sorett is the first one who (1) spent enough time to really evaluate (2) cares enough to get to know you and what is best for you (3) follows up (4) has a clue about what he's doing (5) will not lie to you. I don't see how you can possible need anything more.
