Dr. Evangelos Biscotakis, MD

WARNING!!!... DO NOT USE DR. BISCOTAKIS!! He is a very Negligent MD! My mother went to him 1x for severe pain in legs and lower back...We never received an order at that visit for a CT Scan to see what is causing such pain from Biscotakis during that 1x visit... He saw in notes in system from previous MD that she had Low White Blood cells... He wasnt concerned at all about that. Nurse stuck my mom like 7x and couldnt draw blood.. We went to Lab Dept. ..They had no problem at all drawing my moms blood.. Biscotakis wrote scripts for pain med and said she didnt need to come back until 3 mos.. Nurse calls with results.. said everything looked fine accept White Blood Cells.. they were low... No concern from Bisvcitakis again at all!! Only when we left and she was still having enormous pain... I asked him for an order for an MRI for her spine.. A very very short time later.. mom falls on floor ..Goes to E R. .did Labs and seen quite a few troubling things with her blood... They… had to admit her..They discovered she had Congestive Heart Failure inwhich BISCOTAKIS did see prior at office visit she had with...He saw how huge her legs were...Resurrection Hosp. discovered she had Stage 4 Spine Cancer...Now they dont know how long shell have to live..She has to have Radiation on Spine and Chemo. Had I known this MD is that negligent and not thorough with his patient a patient in pain like my mom.... I never ever would have brought her to him!!

I am a patient of dr bicscotakis as is my family ...after bouncing around to a few are doctors we are all sticking w him..His demeanor is calming and comforting . he seems willing to answer all your questions no matter what .. Furthermore we seemed to be very knowledgable on any subject I brought up . In closing he treated me and I learned a lot about the what how's why and what to do ...very satifsfied Vasilis R

Despite what people are saying and complaing about him here, I am taking the time to write the opposite. I went to him for a few reasons, and he explained everything to me in a professional way. He listened to me patiently and kindly and took my issues seriously than gave me a relevant answer. I am very happy with him, the best listener ever! He is busy, every doctor is and it is not his job to handle appointments and refills it is the staff's, so don't mistake his duties with other's.

I think he is easy to drop a client, he sees more geriatric patients and he sees tired and hard to file refills almost in any medication other patients had say the same. He didn't et along with my teen son from the get go since, then i lost his trust and he started to become rude, and impossible to cooperate , god complex.

He diagnosed me with stage 2 hypertensions, placed me on metoprolol, and then abruptly canceled my prescription after being on the medication for over a year. I do not live in the area and I had to call into the office to find out that he wouldn't refill my prescription unless I came for a visit. Thanks Doc, its not like I live and work 4 hours away and that abruptly ceasing a metoprolol regimen can have serious and potential fatal side effects. I would recommend Dr. Biscotakis only if you would like to develop chest pains and or sue him for malpractice in the foreseeable future.
