Dr. Evelyn Bricklin Marsh, MD

Dr. Marsh is one of the best doctors I know. I have been a patient of hers for the last 5 years. She always takes her time and is very thorough in her care. She explains everything clearly and is quick to respond to phone calls and messages. I highly recommend her!

I moved to the Boston area immediately before becoming pregnant with my third child. I found the practice through my old OB and thought I was in good hands. The clinic itself is very nice and well run. I was extremely impressed by the ultrasound, lab, and front desk staff. I also saw two other physicians (Dr. Burns and Dr. Lambert - I believe) who both seemed to be lovely and would have been great choices. Unfortunately the physician I had picked Dr. Marsh, was not. She was extremely cold and unrelatable. It seemed like she was practicing defensive medicine (worried about being sued) rather than taking the time to determine what was in the best interest of me, her patient. During my third trimester I was looking through my after visit summaries online and discovered that some of the information she had written was actually inaccurate and did not reflect our conversations. After that, I realized I couldn't trust her and the necessary patient/physician trust could not be… repaired so I switched practice groups entirely. In hindsight, I wish I had just requested a new doctor. If you decide to go to NE OBGYN, and I would definitely recommend the practice, go see one of the other physicians who may actually care about you and your care rather than a potential lawsuit.

Dr. Marsh is amazing! She was not my primary Dr during my pregnancy and I did not get the chance to meet her till I got to the hospital but what a absolutely lovely experience. She has the best bedside manner and really made me feel safe and listen too as well as answered any and all concerns I had about my baby. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

Love this woman!!! This is the best medical office I have ever walked into. From birth control to my pregnancy to post partum care. I love Dr. Marsh and the staff. I am sad that this is my last child because this office really cares about their line of work and it shows.

This is my second year as one of Dr. Marsh’s patients & can assure you I will not be back for a third year. My first appointment with doctor Marsh a year ago was pleasant, informative, and comfortable. This years annual exam was quite the contrary. Right off the bat she made an insulting & irrelevant comment; followed by a giant attitude in response to what I believed to be very resonable questions. (Questions to your doctor in regard to your personal heath DO NOT EVER need to be answered in judgement.) I left feeling terrible and actually cried on the way home. Also, called everyone I recommend to see her & told them to find someone else.

Dr. Marsh took the time to listen, take me seriously, and explain my options. She didn't force unnecessary tests and was very clear about my options. I only wish she could be my PCP. Highly recommend.

The most compassionate Dr I have ever had ! Dr Marsh made me feel safe and confident during my scariest time .

Poor excuse for a doctor and refused to treat me because I did not take her advice and get a flu shot while pregnant. She stormed our after telling me I can not be treated in her practice if i don't take vaccinations and vaccinate my newborn.
