Dr. Evelyn Minaya, MD

Dr.Minaya is the absolute best! She keeps it real with her patients and makes sure that you’re comfortable. She’s extremely honest so if you’re fake or don’t want to hear the truth this is not the doctor for you.

Dr. Minaya was my first and only gynecologist until recently. I tested positive for an STD for the first time in my life. She called me with the news and unfortunately her interactions with both myself and my mother were extremely unprofessional and rid of any empathy. When I tried to ask questions, she quickly rushed to provide answers and stated "remember, no glove no love". My mother the next day went to pick up the test results from her office and waited until she was able to also speak with Dr. Minaya. She was snappy (for a lack of a better term) and also stern with my mother, though we have both seen her for most of our lives and thought we had a good relationship with her. My mother tried to explain to Dr. Minaya that I was worried about the results and Dr. Minaya replied by stating, "Oh NOW she's worried?!" and quickly proceeded to tell my mother that she "had to run". I was extremely upset by her lack of professionalism, genuineness or care for her patients and their families,… and have since sought care from another provider. I would not recommended her to anyone after this last series of terribly rude encounters I had with her during a very stressful time in my life.

I have been seeing Dr Minaya for years. She has helped me through problems with her kindness and her humor. She is so friendly and funny and she understands your issues. I like her so much i even continued to go to her when she wasn't covered by my insurance plan! I wouldn't trade her for the world.

Thankful for Dr. Minaya as she is a thorough, honest, down to earth, smart doctor that truly cares for her patients. Feels like a family member is taking care of you..

Didn't need a follow up visit so can't rate it. Dr. Minaya is wonderful she's down to earth spends as much time as you need with you answers all your question. I love her makes going to the Gyno not so bad.

My child that Dr. Evelyn delivered is now 18 years old, but I still remember her very fondly. I was lucky enough to have only three hours of labor, during which she was very encouraging. At my six week check up, she announced to the staff (as she held my son) that I'd delivered a 9 1/2 pound baby with no medication, lol. The only reason I ever stopped going to her was that they no longer accepted the new insurance my company switched to.

She makes you feel comfortable and takes time with you

I am so comfortable with her; I feel like I can talk to her about ANYTHING going on with my body. She TRULY cares about her patients!

One of the best experiences with a doctor. So pleasant, friendly and spent a lot of time with me. Not only knowledgeable but great bedside manner.
