I have been seeing Dr. Persuad for several years now and it wasn't until recently I realized he is probably the worse physician I've ever seen and met. I work in the pharmaceutical industry so I come across a lot of physicians and his lack of concern for your care, lack of attention to details, and poor diagnosis is enough for me to question his capabilities as a physician. His lack of knowledge, lack of responses to my calls and lack of completion of my paperwork is all below average of any physician that I know of. He's dishonest, he's not loyal, and he constantly complains about his staff behind their backs. I realize he's the problem; not his staff. It's a dis-service to the African American community for him to continue to serve people and pretend he's doing them good. Especially when this is someone you put your life in his hands. I have had friends to comment on his mis-diagnosis and lack of professionalism. Run from his office as fast as you can....and always get a… second opinion!!!

Dr. Persaud was on point when I visited in 2013 late afternoon. I had a head ache although life was going great and in shape everything seemed perfect. He ran some test based on my head ache and gave me a call at 6:45 pm to tell me to go the hospital immediately my sugar levels were equal to coma status. Thanks Dr. Persaud still here going strong, diabetes under control. Your the best.

Was told that he was a good doctor. No he isn't! It took forever to see him, he had no idea what was wrong and did nothing but write a prescription that didn't help. Will never visit his office again.

Used to be nice, kind...not anymore. He's drastically changed to a non caring physician. Take your chances

it was my 1st day yesterday , he speaks so fast and too low volume, i could not understand him a single word , I am going to change my primary care, never go to him 1 /10 marks

I have had high blood pressure since I was 14 years old and decided to change doctors after 20 years to try Premier South. My issues were the staff. When I first visited and after the first visit it should have been my last. Without 2 of his staff members Dr. Persaud is a wonderful doctor when it comes to diagnosis and spending time to talk about your issues and trying to find resolution to your condition. I was forced to end my relationship with his office due to another situation but will miss him dearly just because he listens and tries to give you the right medicine and thats very important for me cause I have been on tons of medicines all my life. It is hard to find good DOCTORS especially a doctor that will put in work to try to find the right medicines to help the situation but in this circumstance it was a bad call all due to the staff. I have never been treated so rudely and disrespected by a staff member representing a doctor's office ever in my entire life of living with my… health issues since age 14. I have never had to complain nor write a bad review. I will never referred this office to anyone in my life due to the staff. Your staff represents you. You can't be a phenomenal Doctor with rude, unprofessional staff members who act like they could careless about your illness. Also, if you expect to walk in to see him that will never happen because he is too busy and his staff will not allow it and on emergency you may as well make your way to the ER cause that is the only way you will survive cause you definitely will not see him if it is any type of emergency. The office will not even work you in for that day. You will get turned away and told to go to the ER every time. It's more costly to be pushed to the ER. I thought obtaining a Primary Physician was a more affordable thing to do. He also will not follow up on your visit or call to see what happened to you in the ER cause he is too busy. What happened to doctors caring about their patients and going overboard and behind their duties. I assume that does not exist anymore. I know I am a new patient but I was a referral from one of his old patients who did complain about his staff also but highly recommended him as a good doctor.

I recently saught out Dr. Persaud after being a patient of his some years back. I was out of work for several years because of the recession and wasn't able to see a doctor. By the time I did, the stress of trying to keep my home, find a job and just surving had taken its toll! By the time I did see a doctor, I had been hospitalized several times and finally resulted in diabetes with the use of insulin, as well as several other ailments. Not being with the doctors I had been seeing and moving back to the southside of town, I decided to try Dr. Persaud again, since I liked him from years previously. He balked about me searching him out and talked about himself most of the visit. I was very upset and crying and he had no compassion or sympathy for me! Just rushed me in and out and said he wouldn't be able to see me again, after his office said he was accepting new patients. He also gave me the wrong diagnosis! I was scared to death and thought I would have to have surgery when I… didn't!!! Worst experience ever!!! He

Dr. Persaud was recommend to me by a co worker. Fast forward - what an awesome doctor! Caring, professional, takes his time and up to date on the lastest medications and procedures. The office and staff were professional and my wait time was less than 10 minutes. The overall experience has inspired me to be on time for my appointments.
