I went to this doctor and talk about RUDE! Every time I tried to tell him about my symptoms, he rudely interrupted me and would say “that doesn’t matter, we will address that at a later date”....and when he asked me when my symptoms started they technically started about 2 years ago, but became severe within the past 6-7 weeks but when I attempted to tell him this, he became even more and more frustrated. I then told him that the neurosurgeon had recommendations for treatment and he asked if I had an MRI... I informed him that yes, I did and the staff had put it in my file after getting it faxed by Torrance Memorial. He then thumbed through my chart, and called his nurse into my room and ver batem said “what kind of doctor am I? Am I an Ear Nose Throat Dr? Am I a GI Dr? No, well fix this then because clearly you guys didn’t get the right reports” referencing my inpatient hospital stay where I had some GI issues mixed with a severe sinus infection...I left feeling like I would rather be… miserable and in pain than deal with this person again

I have never written a review for anything in my life but I found this to serious to ignore. Warning! Warning! Please read this before seeing this butcher. I was a patient of Dr. Proano, I can say that he has left me worst off than I was when I first saw him. He did an epidural which left me in pain for over 8 weeks. I saw him on a emergency visit which I had to wait a week for to be told by the doctor that I had to live in pain and perscribed a medication which has never worked to elevate pain even though I told him that the medication had never worked. He was harsh, cold and not listening to any of my concerns he spoke back to me as though I were a child. I wish I would had read the reviews before seeing him. Someone needs to checks his diplomas to see if there not forged. I would not let this so called doctor treat my dog for a minor cut.

Dr. Proano is wonderful. He knows his craft, listens to his patients and offers treatments that truly help.

The irony involved with this "medical specialist" is that he imparts pain rather than alleviates suffering. His only solution to my condition was for me to take an epidural which I had done previously, causing a terrible reaction for over three weeks. He then rudely dismissed me, stating that this was the only procedure available for my condition. He made me feel as though I was a lowly minion of the uninformed. I have NEVER encountered a more cold, rude and uncaring member of the medical profession. Obviously, I am not alone in this opinion as evidenced by other reviews. Time to give us all pain relief, Dr. Proano, by retiring before more are subjected to your horrendous treatment.

I have never before met a more rude nasty uncaring doctor in my life. I do not wish his treatment on my worst enemy. This man should not be allowed to work with the public

I have NEVER been subjected to the uncaring, unprofessional and just plain rude treatment I received from him. . I received NO POST PROCEDURE INSTRUCTIONS. That evening I applied a heat pad for the pain, not knowing that was the worst thing to do. I called to ask him if I should continue taking the anti-inflamatory prescribed by the Doctor referring me to him. I called his office back a few times and was unable to get a definitive answer. Each time I asked for an answer, I was told I would be called back with one. I am still waiting.

No Complaints. Excellent service, Diagnosed the problem correctly and followed up timely.I found him very personal

I would not recommend this doctor, he did not help my back problem he made it worse with the epidural inj. When i went back for a follow up to adviser him of my condition he was very rude and arroganant..i would strongly advise you to search for a different pain management md.
