The best listening skills I've seen with a doctor. Gets all info before going ahead. Thorough and kind.

I had this appointment set almost a month out because it was an annual exam. The reception desk was great but the problems began when I was escorted (on time) back to the exam room. After waiting 35 minutes for someone to come in, I stepped out into the hall to ask what was the problem. Dr. Faustinella was sitting with a nurse and saw me standing in the hallway. She did not acknowledge me and I did not know who she was because I was a new patient. I stopped another nurse and was told the doctor was in with another patient and would be with me shortly. Finally, after 45 minutes, the resident in training came in to take my history. I informed him of how long I had been sitting there and he said there was some kind of mix-up. He leaves and I wait another 25 minutes before Faustinella comes in. She immediately starts making excuses and blaming others for the wait and then tells me I can decide for myself if I want to use her services. I maintained my composure the entire time so… she wasn't having to deal with an irate customer, although, she knew I was not happy. This woman does not reflect the kind of physician I want for my health care needs. I will NOT go back.

Dr. Faustinella is exceptionally intelligent, a great diagnostition, and the best listener I have ever met. She is a national treasure! No wonder students at UT Sch of Med have voted Dr.Faustinella "Professor of the Year" numerous times. In eight years as her patient, I have received excellent medical care and personal concern!

Great personality, good bedside manner, never feel rushed during office visits, highly recommended.

There is not enough good I can say about Dr. Faustinella.

I went in for illness that could have almost been an emergency visit. She listened carefully to my entire explanation of symptoms and it seems that she immediately knew exactly what the real problem was. Now that I'm feeling better it turns out she was right, even though I wasn't so sure at the time. She quickly recognized the source of the symptoms and what symptoms were secondary or unrelated to the emergency.That tells me she is highly intelligent and has intuition.
