Dr. Faheem Akhtar, MD

I have to agree with the first people he takes quite a long time calling back with results I waited almost 2 1/2 weeks to get my results which was not fun I could not sleep. The office staff was friendly on the phone but I was upset that it took so long for my results, I think now would it have been better to just schedule an appointment???????

I recently went in to see this vascular surgeon. This office is very friendly and compassionate. The wait time was a bit long and so is the check in process, they require paperwork on a small computer, for us older folks we know this can be a pain.The front desk gals were very helpful and provided me and my wife some good conversations and provided us with some good coffee, the medical assistant for Dr. Akhtar, a hispanic young lady is very friendly and very helpful as well and the doctor and her work very well. He has a good bed side manner and a very funny sense of humor. He's a younger vascular surgeon but he sure knows a lot. I had to get an ultrasound and I had to wait quite some time to hear back but I know that if something was wrong he would have called sooner.

Dr. Akhtar is one of the most kind hearted doctors I have met in a very long time. He has taken very good care of me. I needed surgery right away and his office was able to schedule me immediately. He has saved my life. The entire office was amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful. His assistant was very helpful and friendly as well. I have recommended him to friends. There's no other surgeon I could have asked for.

Dr .Akhtar did surgery on my husbands leg, after awhile it turned out fine. Now his other leg is bad, dr gets 2 ultrasounds done thinking its blood clots. they find no blod clots which is great but now still having bad leg problems. was told after last ultrasound that the Dr would contact him. that was 4 days ago, he could loose his leg but does the dr care? I would say no, if he did would have check in and let us know what to do about husbands leg. might be cellulightes, who knows. Thanks for Nothing Dr akhtar.

I have never met such an uncaring doctor, it was my first time meeting him he shook my hand and explained how the other doctor didnt do the right thing and most people like me end up dead! Nice bedside manner! Went to another doctor who gave me a total different diagnosis and told me his behavior was shameful.
