Dr. Faher Elias Koteira, MD

He was the best primary doctor I ever have had. He was my husband's doctor as well before his passing. Attentive, kind, knowedgeable understanding. I was so sorry to have him leave for Kaiser!

Dr. F. E. Koteira was one of the absolute worst doctors I have ever seen. This visit was terrible. I honestly still can’t believe, by how much we pay for healthcare, I would be treated in this rude and disrespectful way... He, Dr. Koteira, didn’t listen to any of my serious and valid concerns, but merely brushed me off, especially concerning family medical history and my questions of pre-cancer screening. Very arrogant and patronizing, treating me as if I were some kind of child or hypochondriac. I do not appreciate being spoken down to, as if I were not an equal human being. Certainly not respectful, and extremely demeaning. He even denied there was any kind of cancer screening available. Having had close relatives with cancer and being aware of the screening methods available, I know he lied straight to my face. In any case, he could have at least been understanding and reasonable towards my concerns, instead of cold and apathetic. Instead, he told me not to worry about my… health, which came across as a man unwilling to do his job or take my complaints seriously. He seemed completely ignorant of pre-cancerous symptoms and the normal recommended precautions, especially when symptoms arise or cancer runs in the family. It was very demeaning, to say the least. So much for "early screening" doctors so often recommend. I was very dissatisfied with this visit and will not be seeing him again. I do NOT recommend Dr. Koteira. Overall, I felt extremely insulted, condescended, and disrespected. He should not be in the service of medical practices, caring for patients, and interacting with people.

Im a Kaiser member, and as much as I hate being negative specially on feedbacks, this time is necessary “Doctor” MD Koteira, Elias is the most unprofessional, rude, careless Doctor I ever been around. I would never recommen his services

This man is in humane I have been in 4 major accidents having broke my neck and back and suffer everyday in severe pain!! This man is a monster he doesn't care about me or any of jhis patients !! He refused me pain meds for no teason oh cuz he don't like them , some people will be I pain meds for life !! This dr needs to retire

I went to see Dr. Koteira due to having medical because I couldn't see my regular doctor. Due to my dismay he was rude arrogant and cold. I have been in chronic illness and needed to have disability paper signed and he refused!! Lecturing me I need to get a job only meeting me for the first time. I will never go to this doctor every again and nowhere should anyone if they want proper care. I have been going to loma linda medical center for many years to get my medical care here, however this guy dose NOT no the meaning of patient care. It makes loma Linda look very bad indeed.
