Dr. Faiq A. Hameedi, MD

He has to be one of the most careless therapist/psych doctors I’ve ever had the displeasure of seeing. after many years of treatment from age 22 to 35 he had the audacity to state that anxiety major depression and ocd were not chronic disorders and does not count as a disability. if your own dr doesn’t think your not mentally well then what’s the point in being a dr.

One of the best Psihiatrist he understands your situations he is very polite and calm Very knowledgeable intelligent Doctor May God,bless him I would recommend this Doctor he saved my life

Dr. Hameedi has been my brother's doctor for 10+ years but we finally realized that he is not looking out for his best interest. Instead, according to him he is "spending too much time on this". Those were his exact words when we called him in desperation because my brother was having a manic episode. He also hung up the phone and only suggested increasing his medicine without a full evaluation or seeing his patient. My brother was also trying to reach out to him weeks before getting to the point of having to get hospitalized but he never responded back to him. I can go on everything else I've come to find out he has done all these years that seems unethical but I am not going to keep wasting my energy and time on him since I now have to spend time taking care of my brother and finding another loyal and caring doctor. Please stay away from him because he only wants your money!!!!

Dr. Hameedi didn't rush me in or out. He seemed to understand my issues and offered great advice and techniques to help with my situation. I might even say he is better then my current therapist.

I had this doctor as a psychiatrist. He helped me so much. Not to divulge alot, but he helped me understand how the people Ive lived with at Unique People Services are prejudiced morons. God bless him. God help them.

Dr. Hameedi has helped me with the issues I have had and provided great techniques to help me cope with certain situations in the future. He takes the time to understand and relate. I am shocked to see poor reviews, unless they were seeking pills and got upset as he does not push medicine. Great Doctor, well worth every visit.

I highly recommend Dr. Faiq Hameedi. He is a caring, warm, brilliant psychiatrist who saved lives of people very important to me.

I was recommended to this doctor by my regular doctor who was supposed to be in my network. After two separate initial phone conversations with him, and going through the “business”, we scheduled an appointment. The day of my appointment came so I arrived at his office 20 minutes early. To my surprise the doctor didn’t have a real office. He met me in some other doctors office. The plaques and degrees on the wall were for another doctor. When I was called into the room to finally meet the doctor, he made me sit there and wait ten minutes while he input my information in his computer. Finally, he says to me, “sorry I don’t take your insurance.” What a waste of time!

I wrote this last month in Healthgrades: My husband has been seeing him for a long while. Now this doctor is not answering or returning phone calls for appointments and my husband needed his prescriptions. Hammedi's voicemail is full. Stopped by his office and lights off and locked. What kind of doctor walks away from all his patients??? Plus my husband is prescribed Wellbutrin and Ritalin. This doctors only sees him once a month and for 30 minutes. He is not a therapist. He is just a pill pusher. Shame on you!

These 5 star reviews are a joke and/or fake (relatives?!). This man does not care you wait over 40 minutes after work/commute as it is 'routine,' then sees you for around 15 mins. While you are trying to explain your health issues, he is playing with his phone and opening/reading mail uninterested.. A controlled refill was 3 days late, no response. He couldn't care less if he tried. This is a mill and he will tell you to get another MD if you object to any of above. Stay away.
