Dr. Faiz E Niaz, MD

Had to wait 9 months for this appiontment due to the office canceling my apptointments a few days before the scheduled one with another Dr multipe times. I then get booked for this Dr. Niaz. So far not a very good experience. Dr might have listened to my initial concerns but didn't understand them. He then made notes about my condition(s) which are not true. That inturn caused the testing he ordered to be denied by insureance because his notes didn't match. I have been reaching out to this Dr/office for over 2 weeks now and can't seem to get a answer from them. Still suffering from conditions and stuck in a limbo

This guy is an absolute joke! He came and never added her. Did no cognitive test. I have one drink a day and he said all issues are from alcohol. He said you can’t live alone and I am fully cognitively functional. I am 78 and live alone with no issues. I had a virtual imaging test done after seeing this nut job and it showed volume loss in frontal lobe appropriate for my age. Very condescending, demeaning and honestly he doesn’t know what he is talking about.

If I could give a minus star rating I would do it. Don't waste your time with this so called doctor. He was rude and condescending. When he asked what medication I was taking for my migraines (and it does help) he told me he refused to prescribe it. I would NEVER recommend him for anything, much less migraine treatment. I already had one but he actually made it worse while I was in his office.

Dr. Niaz has been my migraine lifesaver. He will go above and beyond to figure out any issue you have. I am finally able to get my migraines under control because of Dr. Niaz help.

I recently went to Niaz to talk about switching my anti-seizure medication because I didn't like how it made me feel mentally and physically. First when I got there I offered a handshake and before he reluctantly shook it he looked down at it. He seemed like someone who was only interested in the salary a doctor makes, not helping people. Rather than switch medications he suggested I take more of it. He asked if I drive a car and when I told him I do he pretty much threatened to call law enforcement on me because it's illegal. Apparently there's a 6 month prison sentence if caught. I felt like he didn't like me right off the bat and wasn't helpful at all. I won't be going back. AVOID THIS DOCTOR.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! Spent less than five minutes with me, rushed his questions, told me how i should be feeling and what i should be doing instead of listening to me and my concerns, and was ready to see his next patient. I feel bad for the receptionist who he treats horrible as well. Witnessed her running after a patient to collect his payment after the doctor dismissed him without checking with her first. Once she made mention the patient hadn’t paid yet, he tells her, “Well you better go run after him huh” THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!! Treats his staff so mean! I wish i could get my $50 copay back. STRONGLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! RUDE RUDE RUDE!!! PIEDMONT NEEDS TO REEVALUATE HIM ASAP!!!!

Office staff were friendly and efficient. Wait time was minimal. Dr Niaz listened to me about my complaints, did a thorough neural exam, and reviewed treatment options and tests recommended. Very pleased with visit. Glad I based my choice on education and years of practice vs the disgruntled patient reviews.
