Farah Lerclercq Ferreiro, DO

Dr. Farah Ferreiro is a Family Medicine physician who cares for patients from the time they are born until the end of life. Dr. Ferreiro works to keep her patients safe, focusing on prevention to keep them healthy and allowing them to be able to perform their jobs and daily activities. Along with English, Dr. Ferreiro is also fluent in French and is conversational in Spanish.

Dr. Ferreiro earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University, College of Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Ferreiro completed her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Florida, Shand’s Hospital in Gainsville, Florida. Dr. Ferreiro cares for patients at our Lake Miriam Campus.

What would you like people to know about you as a physician?
I genuinely care about my patients and will do my absolute best to work together to keep them healthy.

What do you enjoy most about working with patients?
I enjoy interacting with all different kinds of personalities and I am always learning from my patients.

How does your work improve lives?
I strive to keep people safe and healthy through prevention, allowing them to be able to perform their jobs and/or activities they love.

What are some interesting facts about you?
I was born in Belgium and my first language is French.
I was also lucky enough to have played college tennis.

Would you like to share about your family?
I have two wonderful parents and a younger brother. I was lucky to marry my amazing husband a year ago.

What childhood memory do you have about visiting the doctor?
The doctors from my childhood were always kind and made me feel comfortable no matter the situation.
