Dr. Shafi is one of the best doctors I have ever come across. I wish I could see her as my PCP, too. I never feel rushed during my prenatal visits. She is very compassionate and has helped me immensely with 2 hyperemesis pregnancies and through a difficult loss. If I could rate her any higher, I definitely would. Even at my silliest first-time-mom questions, she was never condescending in her answers. Everyone should be able to have the care of a doctor like her.

Dr. Shafi made both of my pregnancies very comforting and calming. She spends time to listen to her patients and educates. I would highly recommend her as an OB/GYN!

Dr Shafi is a wonderful doctor. She makes her visits very comfortable, never rushes you. She asks alot of questions and speands time listening. You definately know you have her attention, and she genuinely cares about her patients.I suggest her to everyone I talk to.

Dr. Shafi did not consult us whether my wife wanted to use suture or staples after her second C-section before she used staples, which made the healing process painfully long. For one month, we had to have nurses visiting us to change the dressing and after almost 2 months, the incision site still has discharge and not closed. My wife saw her OB today and was told that she might want to have laser surgery to help healing. My wife is in great health in general and her first C-section surgery was really easy to recover. Even her OB was surprised about her incision this time!!! We had really great experience with Beth Israel Hospital doctors and nurses, but NOT So Much this time! I have to rate you down, Dr. Shafi!

Dr. Shafi has been great at easing my nerves every time I've seen her. I'm squeamish when it comes to the procedure she has to do, but she is great at personalizing the experience to meet my needs and laying out different options to make me feel more comfortable. She talks to you, not at you and has a gentle, caring way about her, while still being very professional. I would recommend her to anyone!
