Outstanding professional

Prior to having a prostate biopsy performed, I had to check off a bunch of items in a consent form. Nothing untoward about this. Reading the 'initials required' elements, I found myself unable to honestly confirm anything. No dialog concerning the procedure that was going to be performed (there were a lot of unpleasant surprises). Nothing with regards to residual impact. A very dismissive response to my wanting to talk through or understand what was happening. My high psa served as justification for biopsy. Period. His on the spot reasoning was that I probably have cancer and, it would seem, should not think twice about having this procedure done. Between this 'conversation' and the unexpected involvement of many more people than just him doing this procedure, let alone the extent to which I would be passing blood and blood clots, has left me very leery of going back. While he may have credential strength, his bedside manner is discouraging.

My Father died of metastatic prostate cancer while in the 9-year care of Dr. Farhad Nowzari. Throughout this process, Dr. Nowzari treated my aging Father with the cavalier attitude of "you are going to die of something and it might as well be prostate cancer". Throughout this period of care, Dr. Nowzari did essentially nothing beyond periodic PSA tests and Luperon injections. When we accompanied my Father to office visits, Dr. Nowzari and his staff were rude and unresponsive to our questions. When the cancer metastasized, Dr. Nowzari referred my Father to an oncologist, several months before his death. We employed another urologist who, after reading the medical records of my Father, stated, "It is hard to imagine that this is all that Dr. Nowzari did for your Father." If you are beyond the age of 70 years, I would strongly suggest any other urologist for your urological care and treatment.

My husband went in because his PSA level was high. Nowzari probed him and found nothing. A few months later my husband was passing tissue and peeing blood. He went back in and Nowzari probed again. We left and when It was time to get the results they would tell us over the phone so we had to make an appt..ok. We went to the appt.Nothing was said as we went in and sat down...nothing said for 5 mins while Dr nowazri stood by his laptop. After 5 mins I asked so what did you find..He paused and said NOTHING. I said really, so you had him make an appt to tell him nothing. His only come back was..You know I have to make money too. I was fuming. And my husband after 8yrs is still passing tissue and blood. Cant find a uroligist that will help.

Dr. Fahad Nowzari is one great urologist. He is very knowledgeable and personable. He gave me excellent care when I had a kidney stone. In addition, his follow up care was well done. I feel at ease to be frank and sincere with him as well as comfortable to ask questions and receive honest answers. His staff is friendly and professional.

Dr. Nowzari is an awesome doctor. He's very knowledgeable and is so patient. I asked so many questions and not once did he shows signs of irritation. He explained everything in details. He is so compassionate and has the BEST bedside manners which is so important especially when I had a health issue, I needed a doctor who can speak to me in a calming voice and not rush to get me out of the door. He really is an Angel. Theres no need to look or research for any other urologist. Dr. Nowzari is your answer.

I was seeing another urologist before I was Blessed with Dr Nowzari. I had a kidney infection and was hospitalized. I remember what a horrible experience I had with the last Dr. So when I was asked who my urologist was I told them I didn't have one. So that's when I was BLESSED with Dr Nowzari. He took out a kidney stone and I was feeling better within a couple wks. He's the best. I'm definetly recommending him to everyone. Very smart Dr and great bedside manner. And a very compassionate man. Office is great also!!
