Dr. Farhat Shereen, MD

I've been to Dr. Shereen many times for RA & Fibromyagia. I feel she's probably a decent doctor but I have found her very hard to understand given her accent and feeling lost. Another frustration for me is that she has NEVER had her office follow-up with me on my blood tests. NOTE, her office is alway overbooked and I've had to wait 40-45 minutes to see her on more than one occasion. I feel if a doctor is running this late you should be notified at least by text to adjust your own schedule.

I have been seeing Dr. Shereen for more than a year now. She diagnosed me in my first visit, she has been an exceptional Dr. My daughter, who has dealt with several Dr's. concerning her husbands health, went with me the first visit and was impressed, Dr. Shereen has been an exceptional Dr., I'm glad I found her.

Would not recommend this Doc to anyone as she made me feel like I was another number in her books! Walked out of her office feeling like no hope of fighting RA !

On the first visit with Dr. Shereen, I thought I had found someone who really cared, as she spent quite a bit of time with me, asking questions and discussing testing and possible treatment plans. However, she then sent me through hundreds of dollars worth of blood tests and xrays and never would call me and give me my results, much less discuss them with me. I had to call the office myself 4 different times over a 3 week period and finally was able to get a little information out of one of the receptionists who answered the phone. Dr. Shereen never did bother to call me back to discuss my results and treatment options. Will never go back.

Raving about to everyone

I have seen DR Shereen for fibromyalgia.Neither was she able to relieve my pain nor helped me getting my disability.Was always argumentative, irritable and in a hurry.I have been still suffering from excruciating pain until my Primary Care Doctor reffered me to a Decent Rheumatologist who took care of me with passion which i never saw in Dr Shereen.She is a Specialist in this field but had not shown any interest in healing me.I am very disappointed in her way of practise.

I went to see Dr. Shereen after many yrs of doctors unable to diagnose my chronic pain and varying symptoms. I had been sent for test after test and told all was normal the pain was all in my head. I read an article on Dr. Shereen in a BJC flyer and decided to see her. Upon my arrival for my first visit her entire staff was very friendly, I had no wait time and she sat and talked to me; discussing my varying symptoms, pain and other illness' - she did not act hurried in any way during my exam, gave me a suspected diagnosis but would not "label me" with that diagnosis until further test results were in. After having those tests I again went to see Dr. Shereen, who then confirmed her suspician. She spent 3/4 - 1 hr explaining my diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and answered all my questions. I have seen Dr. Shereen many times since and she has remained the same kind, caring, compassionate, knowledgable person she was when I first saw her. I highly recommend her to anyone. She is 1st rate!

I was seeing another Rheumatologist and was not happy with him at all. After my first visit with Dr. Shereen, I felt that there was some hope in relieving the pain I was in. She is excellent along with all her staff. Would and have recommended her to others.

The positive reviews are obviously posted there to skew the results. The linguistics show the same way of expression in writing , word for word. This Doctor is obviously a hack!!She cannot deny the fact that she has been out of Practice for a long time and now is struggling andexperimenting.Diagnosed me of arthritis when actually i had a rotator cuff tear ,didnot even bother to get MRI.She is definitely experimenting with patients.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and saw Dr Shereen after seeing another rheumatologist . She spent time to explain the disease and discussed options in treatment. She put me on injectable medication along with pills .My arthritis symptoms are all resolved. She is thorough and very knowledgeable
