Dr. Farheen Kassim Dojki, MD

Dr. Dojki genuinely cares about her patients. She provided updates and communicated with me, via the patient portal or cell phone, in between appointments. At the clinic appointments, she remembered all of my conditions and spoke candidly about what I needed to do to improve them. Seeing her was like seeing a long-time family doctor.

I have seen by Dr. Dojki at UIC Endo clinic for about two years. She great at listening to her patients and their needs. I have been under her care for diabetes and for high blood pressure. I have been doing well with the medications and she very good at determining what's best to maintain control of diabetes and high blood pressure .Lastly, she will be a good fit for where ever she goes and a great asset. Dr. Dojki will be missed.

I have been consulting with Dr. Farheen K Dojki for a year now and she has been excellent with my hyperthyroidism which has been under control in her care. Dr. Dojki has been great at answering my question and concerns about my health in general as well. Dr Farheen Dojki is a very good doctor she save my life i suffered with my thyroid and i had a hard time getting help until i found Dr Dojki she worked with until she got it right she takes time with you make sure you understand how to take your meds and she listen to you.what a great doctor.Thank you so much

I was referred to this doc for complex thyroid issues. She is NOT a skilled physician. Gave only rudimentary responses, didn’t seem to listen to me or think critically about my issues. Her medical advice was about as helpful and in depth as what I could find myself on Google. If you’re seriously ill do NOT go to this doctor.

After a fine needle biopsy of my thyroid, and waiting weeks for my results, which I only received after calls and emails, I was told I needed a complete thyroidectomy by this doctor (and a surgeon at the same hospital), to address "suspicious" (possibly malignant) cells on one side of my thyroid. I am glad I persisted in obtaining a referral (which also took weeks, multiple phone calls and emails through their "patient portal" and finally an "occupation" of my primary care doctor's clinic office, a completely draining experience) for a 2nd opinion with a surgeon at another hospital, because the 2nd review of my biopsy results showed no malignancy and no need for surgery. I avoided the completely unnecessary surgery by two days. While this doctor seemed sympathetic and was apologetic about not getting me the results in a timely manner, this experience left me shaken, and I no longer have any confidence in the UI Health network. If you are in that system and get a diagnosis, before doing… anything drastic get a 2nd opinion. Elsewhere.

She is a lovely person. She is new in this profession, but I think as she learns more, she will become a fine endocrinologists as she already cares for her patients.
