Dr. Fariba Ariz, MD

This is the worse experience I ever had with a doctor. My first impression was awful, she made a snide remark at me holding my iphone with the remark "young people like you seem to have a hard time putting down the phone". I was taken back, if she needed me to put down my phone, I would have. I was already not feeling well, but to feel belittled was even worse. And she then was outraged that a particular medication was previously prescribed to me, she exclaimed "this is expensive for hospitals, we should pinpoint what is causing you to have these symptoms rather than having you take this". Your patient is suffering, and you frown upon the medication that had helped her to recover? What is the point of making me feel so terrible for taking the medication? Especially when it was prescribed for my condition? Is saving money for the hospital more important than your patient's well-being? Months later, this is still prescribed to me from the visits I had to pay to urgent care. These doctors… cared more and helped me with no hesitation. I will always remember how dismissive and uncaring she was. It's not over. In order to avoid filling out a claim, she lied to me that the specialist said my symptoms were not related to my condition. That specialist later clarified that she never said that and she's not surprised my doctor had lied to me. I had to change doctors because I can no longer trust Dr. Ariz.. And I never should have in the first place.

My regular doctor was not available. I needed professional guidance on tapering down from Ambient. She was totally engaged in listening to me and then offering comprehensive advice.

Dr. Ariz is just awful. Instead of referring me to an ENT she stuck a sharp object in my ear and hurt me. Later on a better doctor got me the help I need. She also laughed out loud during an exam with me for no reason while she was training someone. She didn’t even ask me if it was ok to have someone else in the room. Then when I had a positive result for an STD she did have the decency to call and tell me. I hate this doctor.

My husband and I are blessed to have Dr Ariz as our primary care doctor. She listens to our concerns and I always feel better by following her advices. I happened to go to another doctor when she wasn’t available or she was on vacation but none were like her. She takes her time to listen to you and explains about the best way to prevent and then to treat a problem.

If you like Doctors that are condensing and critical to their patients go to her. She was not very professional and she doesn't pay attention to the patient's concerns.

I have seen Dr Ariz several times and each time I leave her office, I feel better. I can go to her with any problems I have annd I know she listens to em, cares about me and takes care of my problems. I love her, God bless.
