When I would call to follow up on the myriad of hoops to jump through regarding tests, the office would always respond we have other patients...

No concern for my well being in an emergency medical situation, resulting in emergency surgery, and later refusal to do follow up on a major infection in my wound, passing the follow up off, inappropriately, to my PCP ( who also refused to do it, correctly stating it was Dr. Bounoau's responsibility).

I have so much to thank Dr. Bounoua she has changed my life I’m loving every breath I take I feel healthier and motivated words can describe how much my life has changed, my body is my temple and my life is worth more than gold. Thank you Dr!

Dr. Bounoua did gallbladder surgery on my husband and 2 other family members in our large family. She is the absolute best! She answers all your questions and is one of the most talented surgeons on the central coast of Santa Barbara. Her staff is knowledgeable and caring. I would trust her with my love ones any day. Highly recommend her.

This doctor has no right to be practicing medicine. She will lie to you, trick you with her lies and she will give you false information. As soon as you are under, she will do whatever she wants. Her surgery skills can only be described as incompetent. She will leave you with more problems than with what you started with. Then she will lie to you about the surgery and leave you to deal with all of the problems she will create. I would rate her with 0 stars but that isn't an option. Do yourself a favor and find anyone else to help you. Run from her as fast as you can, or better yet, never consider her.

Dr. Bounoua is an incredible surgeon and person. Her caring way made my cancer surgery less scary. She truly cared about me and what I was going through. I highly recommend her for not only her skill as a surgeon but for her compassion. Her thoroughness went up and above normal protocols. I will forever be in her debt!!

She is a wonderful and caring doctor, with a great staff! Has a smile on her face even when rushed or when she hasn't slept all night because of doing surgeries. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

DR BOUNOUA is the best doctor I have ever had. She is very dedicated to her work and has changed lives with this surgery. I have lost 160 pounds and have kept it off for 2 years now. I have not had any complications and have had no problems. My life has changed!! I was un able to walk to my mailbox before I have the surgery now I walk everyday with ease.I no longer have diabeties or knee pain. I am a different person since this surgery. She is a wonderful Doctor and a wonderful person. This is the best thing I have ever done. The staff is just as dedicated and freindly as the doctor. What a great group!

I found Dr. Bounoua to be extremely knowledgeable, open and honest. She has amazing judgement and provides sound, even advice. The results achieved were exemplary. Very pleased.

I retained this surgeon for a hernia operation. She is very capable, smart and personable. Although she is very efficient, I always felt like I was important to her. She prepared me very well before surgery, she did excellent work laproscopically such that i have no scars and she provided very attentive, caring follow up. My outcome has been exceptional. I highly recommend her.
