Farrah Laviolette

I don't normally review my doctors on Yelp, but after sitting with Dr. Farrah Laviolette this 5-star review is much deserved. I have been seeing mental health specialists for 8+ years, finding a halfway decent Psychiatrist has definitely been a struggle. WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! For the first time, MY doctor didn't just ask me questions and write me a script. She took the time to evaluate my regimen and EXPLAINED what was happening to my brain. She listened and cared about me. Unfortunately, I was told that Dr. Farrah has left this clinic and she is practicing somewhere else. I am still on the same medications and they’re helping me.

Finally, a doctor that listened and understood my perspective. I was seen by Dr. Laviolette for another opinion on something after speaking with two other professionals who I felt weren't really understanding my situation, or sort of brushed off what I was saying. I left feeling heard and understood, and was happy to come to a solution that I was in full agreement with.

Dr. Laviolette was great! She took over an hour to evaluate me. I never felt rushed. She was thoughtful and warm. I've never had a doctor listen to my story with such empathy.
