Jarfi took the place of the kind and nice Dr. Rice. I was extremely ill and Jafri used the standard line; take this and let me know, after repeated calls I went to the office and waited, he said his treatment method was fine and I asked to be admitted to the hospital. Within the next two days my colon had to be removed. Jafri's lack of knowledge, empathy and care has adversely impacted the rest of my life. Do not be treated by Jafri, Please find a good Dr.

Didn’t review labs for over a week after results are hand delivered to their office, then it took a third call to get the information that a medication was being prescribed. Prescribed a non -formulary medication not covered by BCBS without a prior authorization. Prescribed the drug without explaining the diagnostic need for the medication - no cause or condition, or any guidance related thereto. Called to resolve non-formulary issue and it wasn’t taken care of. Highly incompetent staff may be the cause vs the actual doctor, but we have sought a new GI.

Prompt, courteous, accurate in his diagnosis. Been my Dr. for a few years and I just love him to pieces. Staff is very polite and quite efficient. Wont trade him for anything in the world.

Although I did not meet with Dr. Jafri, I did meet with his NP and she was friendly and listened and offered much information. His scheduler, too, was friendly and efficient. The front desk, more of the same. Very short wait time.

I really liked his personality. He cared!

Dr. Jafri is horrible. He has no concern for his patients well being, and doesn't listen to their concerns. Not to mention he REFUSED to see me because I had my children with me. When he came in, he looked at the kids, backed out of the door and told me that he could not see me with my "circus"! Who do you think you are?!?! I mean for real!!! He would not address my concerns. He did not listen to my concerns, and when I told him that the medication I was currently on was not working he refilled it for another month, obviously because he didn't care to listen. Please do yourself a favor and seek elsewhere for you gastro problems.

I liked Dr. Jafri and found him to be extremely easy to talk to.

Dr. Jafri himself seems to have a lot of knowledge on gastroenterology. The main issue I have is seeing him. My past 4 appointments in a row have had to either be rescheduled or switched to a physicians assistant because Dr. Jafri has had an "emergency" every time. I haven't been able to actually see him in over 6 months and every time I do see him he has no clue who I am or what is wrong with me until I remind him. He has been my doctor for over a year now so that's pretty sad. He's either overbooked with patients or he just doesn't really care about them, I don't know which. My advice is to find another doctor which is what I am doing because I'm fed up with felling like the doctor that I have spent so much time and money on doesn't even know who I am, let alone care. MOVING ON

He has a good bedside manner and good sense of humor that relaxes the patient. He has done two surgeries on my mother, who doesn't like doctors but she has confidence in Dr Jafri and so do I.

DO NOT use this so called Dr. He will not listen to you, proceeds with treatment with no regard for you or your health, does not care anything about his patients and caused me permanent irreversible harm.
