Dr. Farzad Fakheri, MD

This place is a SCAM. Worst experience EVER! If zero stars were possible I would pick that. They tap into all insurances to get money off you. The doctor… Dr Farzad Fakheri is unprofessional, rude, and milking your insurances. I got the information through EyeMed saying this provider was covered under vision insurance. When I called to make an appointment they told me they don’t take EyeMed or any vision insurance (after contacted eyemed which they assure they do). Had to go through my Med insurance and do a $50 copay. At my appointment, he asked me why I wanted to get my eyes checked. I told him mas last prescription was 2 yrs old and needed new glasses. Also, I started getting headaches and migraines more often so I was wondering if maybe my prescription changed, to which he replies: we don’t see that, you need to go to a neurologist. Then he proceeded to tell me he could only give me a prescription for my glasses, and if I wanted one for my contact lenses I had to pay out of… pocket. I refused the contact lenses prescription. The MA went on to take my measurements and try them through the lenses. Then the dr dilated my pupil. While waiting for my eyes to dilate, I overhear him tell the secretary to do a follow up appointment for the person before me through EyeMed. I reach out to the secretary saying I tried using my EyeMed and they said they don’t take it, the secretary denied it. She tells me they use to take it, but no longer do, because this doctor sees “the health of your eyes”. When my eyes dilated, the MA remeasure me. The Dr then asked me to read through the new prescription while my eyes were dilated, which obviously everything looked blurry. He then goes on to tell me they cannot give me the exact prescription for my glasses unless I come back to read with the new measurements when my eyes are not dilated. Goes without saying, I’ve wore glasses since I was 9, and has seen many doctors in my life and this has NEVER happened to me. Then, proceeds to tell me they can take EyeMed (vision insurance) on my second appointment so that way I pay $40 for lenses fitting, that way I can get my contact lenses prescription next time through eyemed, and get retested for my glasses so he can give me the correct prescription for the glasses. I said I’ve never experience this in my life and just want him to give me my prescription. He then goes to say he can’t assure me is the right prescription, that is less than my previous ones and that he does all this testing to make sure I don’t have a brain tumor… legit his words (he had told me my headaches and migraines needed to be seen by a neurologist … and now he is telling me that he does all these tests to see if I have a brain tumor????) So he takes medical insurance on your first appointment, then goes on to use your vision insurance on your second one, and you leave your first appointment without glasses or contact lenses prescriptions, so he can tap on vision next time. This place is a scam. Have much to say about his bedmanner and the place that’s dirty with wipes on the floor everywhere. Please save yourself your copay and go somewhere else.

A patient for years!

I had a stye on my eye for many months. He was very quick, didnt answer any of my questions. I felt rushed through out the appointment. Didnt tell me anything about my situation, how big the stye was, what were the next steps. I won't recommend him to anyone. I initially went to him because it was easy to get the appointment.

I and several of our Sisters see Dr.Fakheri regularly..we are very pleased and highly recommend him to anyone.

I had a problem with my eyes that many other doctors could not figure out. Dr Fakheri saw me and fix my problem. I have recommended him to all my family and friends.

I had was seeing very poorly. I was referred to Dr. Fakheri by a friend. I was relieved that I got a quick appointment. Dr Fakheri was very patient and professional. I have recommended him to all my family members.

lack of profesionalism.....I never rate but he really was rude and his staff seem to fear working for him

Do not go to this doctor!! Very arrogant and condescending. No bedside manner. He is only worried about your insurance and if he is going to vet paid. Does not care about you!! Big FAIL. Go somewhere else
