Dr. Farzam Maleki

This was one of the most unprofessional medical consultations I have ever had. I went in looking for honest expert guidance and instead got what felt like a hard sell for an absurd amount of dental work. The entire appointment was loaded with pressure and scare tactics. I was told things designed to make me feel that major intervention was urgently necessary, including the claim that there was not enough bone to do a front tooth implant. That was simply not true, as confirmed afterward by both another oral surgeon and my own dentist. What really stood out was how blatantly commercial the whole interaction felt. I finally said, “You’re just trying to sell me $50,000 worth of work.” Instead of reassuring me or explaining the recommendation in a professional way, the response was basically that $50,000 was the wrong number and it was more like $100,000. That is not the kind of conversation any patient should be having in a serious dental consultation. I walked out feeling like I had been… pitched, not treated. It felt far more like dealing with a used car salesman than a doctor. The recommendations struck me as inflated, fear-driven, and completely out of proportion to what was actually needed. I then went to another doctor, had the necessary work done very professionally for around $8,000, and I am extremely happy with the results. That only confirmed how inappropriate this consultation was. My advice: avoid this practice, and absolutely do not commit to any major treatment plan here without multiple independent opinions.

My experience with Dr. Maleki started off pretty good, I thought. After several consultations I decided to use him. The office staff were so nice until I had questions which let to issues then cold as ice. I tried to communicate with the doctor, he was less than interested. His assistant was not knowledgeable and as soon as he left would go ask another assistant how to do what he asked. He rarely glanced at her work. Knowing I lived over 4 hours away taking a few more minutes would of saved me many hours of driving to have things corrected but more concerning was the doctor's attitude acting like I was bothering him. You would think the thousands of dollars I paid him would of at least rendered customer service. I had to find another dentist to complete what he started. As a bonus the dentures he made were so ill fitting, to wide, to long it was impossible to rework. Very unhappy.....save your time and money, educate yourself before meeting dentist.

I had extensive mouth reconstruction done by Dr. Maliki. His staff was wonderful and they made all of my visits fun. They all were very professional and took the time to make me very comfortable. Whether it was a 1 hour or 4 hour visit, it was something I did not dread because of the manner in which they treated me. Dr Maleki himself was very personable, humorous, and informative. He kept me well informed of the process and what he would be doing each visit. On top of all of that, his work was impeccable. I could not be happier with the final results. For the last 20 years I would not smile that often. I have been very conscious of the way my teeth made me look and it made me withdraw from conversation and contact. Email was my best friend. Now I have a big smile and am proud of the way I look. Thanks to Dr. Maleki and his staff, I feel like I have new lease on life. I highly recommend his services and will always come back to him for all of my dental needs.
