Dr. Fatoumata Yanoga, MD

Dr. Yanoga did surgery on my eye after a fender bender. I went from seeing 20/20 with no contacts to now seeing 20/40. Her professionalism with the surgery was unethical. I had a previous lens put in my eye many years ago, think cataract surgery. I saw 20/20. One side of this lens was knocked loose. This happened before (my 3 year old headbutted me) the lens was simply reattached on the loose side. I went to my surgery appointment expecting the same thing. Just before Dr. Yanoga introduces herself, and recommends changing the lens entirely to one she likes in a different way attached. I’m in a gown on the gurney, already with one dose of meds and feel drunk. Very confused and flustered, I agree. Outcome above. I went in for follow up visits, she says it will improve. It does not. She then tells me to start seeing a different doctor. She also said just before surgery she talked with my wife in the roo. That was our babysitter, she never asked. No, I would not recommend her.
