Dr. Felipe Antonio Ayala, MD

I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. Dr. Ayala was very unprofessional while in the ER seeing him, he was speaking with another DR. about my care outside my door, (assuming he did not think I could hear him), he had advised that Dr. that I was cognitive but he was not 100% sure he was going to wait for my MRI. Prior to my ER visit there I was told I had a tumor next to my brain, this was not found nor addressed while I was here when I asked about the tumor they said let me review your chart again and stated I would need to speak with my PCP. I had a follow up visit scheduled a week after at his office, I am 4.5 hours away, I called Monday before my appointment on Thursday to see if I could do an over the phone interview since I lived so far away I was told no I had to come in for my first visit. After driving all the way there 30 min before my appointment they called and said it was going to be an over the phone appointment they could not see me in the office, Dr. Ayala and his… assistant was not helpful at all, every question that I asked them they stated that would be a good question for my primary care Dr. they never answered my questions and suggested I call my primary care Dr. when they are supposed to be specialist you would think they could answer my questions. If you are looking for a Neurologist that needs to dig deeper and find your underlying condition I would recommend you going somewhere else because all these Dr.'s will do is have you go see your PCP, they don't want to take the time to help you, they will do an MRI and if something doesn't jump out at them "you are fine", they had stated they was going to do a spinal tap on my follow up but that was never mentioned again either. I would find another Dr. if you are needing help.
