Dr. Felix Antonio Almentero, MD

Horrible experience with this dr. First thing he comes into the office while the tech is hooking me up to perform the emg study. He does not introduce himself nor ackowedge me instead he stretches out on a chair and waits for the tech to finish. He then approaches me ,again does not acknowledge me and proceeds to conduct the study. At this point I became iritated with his horrible bed side manners which I took as a sign of disrespect as well. I stopped him to ask him to explain what he 's doing to me. He explained that this exam is like a cop with a radar gun checking the speed of cars. So he explains the nerve conduction test but does not explain the emg part of the exam. He tells me the report will be ready in two weeks and was about to make a quick exit before I stop him to ask for his first impressions.he says tests are normal. I am still experiencing pins and needles in my hand and neck pain...either he did a poor evaluation or something else is wrong with me. Needless to say I… do not recommend this doctor.

Dr. A. was very thorough in his treatment. He asked very direct and specific questions regarding my condition and explained how he would proceed with treatment...I have been following his plan and my pain has greatly diminished.
