He then completed his internship in Internal Medicine at State University of New York at Buffalo - Catholic Health Program and completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Washington University in St. Louis, Barnes-Jewish Hospital/St. Louis Children's Hospital Consortium PM&R Program where he served as Academic Chief Resident and won the award for Resident of the Year in the 2017-2018 academic year. He is fellowship-trained in spine and sports medicine at HSS. As a physiatrist, Dr. Creighton's ultimate goal is to optimize his patients' function through injury prevention, active rehabilitation, and guided return to sport and activity. Each patient is given a personalized plan and an exercise prescription. When procedures are indicated, he is skilled in fluoroscopic-guided injections of the spine and peripheral joints, as well as ultrasound-guided injections for joint, tendon and muscle pathology, including platelet-rich plasma and hyaluronic acid.
