Dr. Felizardo S Camilon

Horrible practitioner!! As a RN, I have to say that he has provided the worst bedside care that I have ever seen!! He is one of those old-school, burned-out doctors who thinks everyone should shut up and do what he says, and God forbid that you have any questions. He is old, rude, impatient, and incapable of providing the full spectrum of care that is necessary to treat patients. He needs to leave the profession. He is outdated, washed up, and puts a terrible face on CHOC hospital as an organization - I can't believe that this is the ENT surgeon that they choose to allow to work with their patients and in their facilities.

I took my daughter to see Dr. Camilon for the first time for the consultation. We arrived at the office on time but still have to wait for 52 minutes long. No ones in his front office inform us why there was a delay. No courtesy what so ever. When we finally got called in to an exam room. Dr. Camilon who happen to have 32 yrs experience but can't not feel the bump on my daughter's cheek but later after I instigated to him that the bump is there if he just take his time to exam her cheek carefully. OMG, he finally found the bump. It is a lymph node about 6 cm. He finally agreed to what my daughter and I have trying to tell him. We are not here to waste your time DR. Oh, by the way, Dr. Camilon please have your staff stocks exam gloves in the exam room so that you don't have to collect gloves in your white medical jacket. How do your patient knows if it is clean or not just because you said it so. He used the gloves that was in his medical jacket to exam my daughter's mouth.… Yuck!!!! Talking about insanitary. I will never go back to this doctor. It was soooo bad I have to call my daughter's primary Doctor and complained to them that we had a terrible experience with Dr. Camilon and we refuse to go see him again.

Dr. Camilion is a fantastic ENT doctor - he always cures me after I've tried everything else! Kind and caring, and knows his stuff. Especially good with children, but will accept adults too, depending on your insurance.

Dr. Camilon is wonderful. His care was above all. He did surgery on my son who had huge tonsils. I visited so many Dr. here in Long Beach and they were more concerned about money than my child's difficulty in breathing. I was beyond stressed out. Thank God for Dr. Charma who contacted Dr. Camilon and with in weeks my sons surgery was preformed. Dr. Camilon's fee's were so low and affordable I was shocked. My heart goes out to these Doctors who helped us. May God Bless them. He was also Kind and extremely considerate.

First ENT I choose for my children! I want & find the best. Great surgeon!

He knows what he is doing, the M.A's lack a little bit of personality, although I did call to get a form from the staf and the girl that assisted me was awesome she got it to me right away, very efficient and the wait time is always minimal, at least the times i have gone, and I've been there plenty of times...

All the bad reviews you read have to do with Dr. Camilon's lack of warm and fuzzy bed side manner! If you do your homework, you will find that he is amongst the best Pediatric ENT's in California and is VERY popular! He also see's allot of less fortunate children who are a part of the welfare system. So in regards to a comment saying he is in this for the money - you are WRONG! He accepts more than just PPO patients. Your job as a parent is to ask questions - so speak up! Dr. Camilon can appear intimidating for his small stature and you may be taken back by his lack character. However, both my children see him frequently and if you actually talk to him, he does have a personality! You have to understand his culture also. You really have to ask yourself whether having a social butterfly for a Doctor matters more to you than having a Doctor who knows what he is doing, does it well and is recognized for it!!! This is your childs life we are talking about, not a car! So choose… wisely.

Dr. Camilon is a very conservative ENT. He treats your child with the greatest of care and only prescribes surgery when it it is absolutely necessary. He has been our family ENT for both of our children's ear tubes, sinus surgery, and adenoids. We are very pleased and highly recommend him and CHOC.

I had sinus surgery from Dr. Camilon...He was great. I highly recommend him.
