Dr Fern TaisenChoy-Bent quite possibly may be the worst doctor I have ever been to in my life!! I went to Dr. TaisenChoy as a "new" patient in the end of 2020 looking for a gynocologist that was well versed in hormones. She ordered bloodwork to check my levels and my request was that if the bloodwork had not changed I wanted to stay on my original prescription because I have fibroids and it had worked for me for the past 15-20 years. She agreed to that! The bloodwork came back and no change was needed so the office told me the prescription would stay the same. Over the next 3 mos. I experienced break through bleeding, night sweats, hot flashes, anxiety and others. I called the office to ask if there had been a change to my prescription which they said "NO". I continued on the prescription and started to experience even worse symptoms. Finally I called the pharmacist, the pharmacist revealed the prescription was changed. Not only did the dr. change the prescription she didn't know how… to counteract the side effects I was experiencing, she took advice from a pharmacist that had never seen my bloodwork and didn't have any idea of my medical history. When I finally spoke to the dr.; days later in a tele-visit so she could charge me- she was rude and clearly so unfamiliar with hormones that I was not confident in her decision. I purchase 3 mos at a time for convenience and cost saving purposes, so now I have extra hormones that I can't use because of the adverse effect from Dr. Taisenchoy changing the prescription and NOT telling me. SHE'S THE WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER HAD IN 58 YEARS. She is incompetent, negligent and unethical!! THE LOSER TRIFECTA!! Only out for money and clearly doesn't know what she is doing with hormones. I went to another gynocologist who had no problem renewing my previous prescription. Clearly he understands hormones. Don't waste your time with Dr. TaisenChoy!!! And HER OFFICE STAFF IS SO RUDE AND NOT WILLING TO HELP PATIENTS!!

Wonderful doctor and staff as well! Dr. Taisenchoy-Bent was very kind, compassionate, listened, and spoke to me like a human being as opposed to just a number. The doctor didn’t rush my visit and provided me with information regarding my concerns and was very patient. I definitely recommend Dr.Taisenchoy-Bent. I wish I had known about her sooner. I must again comment on how great every staff member was that I encountered that day. I have never experienced a doctors office with such kind and warm staff.

I have been a patient for 10 years and Dr. Bent is a gem. I feel lucky to have found her!
