Dr. Fernando D Kwiatkowski, MD

Dr. Kwiatkowski has been my psychiatrist for years. He listens, offers advice and he cares a lot about his patients. Dr. “K” follows through with the plan of care. I highly recommend Dr. Kwiatkowski to anyone going through depression.

Dr. Fernando D. Kwiatkowski I have found to be a uncaring Medical Doctor that only cares about money and if you lucky you get 15 minutes when seeing him. Now with Covid virus he rushes people even on phone calls.

Not helpful at all, very very unprofessional

Been seeing Dr. K for years, been wonderful. I have moved away from San Diego and still travel from another state to keep him as my doctor. Great interactions and provides me with just enough feedback to keep me thinking through things, not pushing me to see things his way or act when I'm not ready. Great support!

I do not usually write reviews online but I was appalled by a recent negative review of this wonderful doc so I decided to write one. Dr."K" has been taking care of me for several years now. I have seen a few doctors before and and after several hospitalizations a friend recommended him to me. He saved my life!! He is caring, compassionate and above all, a great psychiatrist. He found the right combination of medications and I got my life back. I imagine as a psychiatrist Dr. K deals with all kind of patients and some may be quite disturbed and mean like "Find a new psychiatrist".

Tightly wound, judgemental, uncaring, inept listener, unavailable even after his high dose prescription landed me in the ER. Dr. Kwiatkowski, lacks the intuition and care to be working with fragile minds, however, if you do decide to schedule an appointment, I'd highly suggest you proceed with caution.

spends more time talking about himself (and his cholesterol) than me? a very difficult feat. late without apology, questions are interruptory rather than inquisitive. oh and the staff and ambience at PCSD are the pits!!!

" Dr. K" is caring, dedicated, funny, and above all, down to earth. He spends time explaining things to you and has helped me in so many ways. He returns phone calls personally and promptly. I was surprised when he called me at 8:00 pm one evening and told me he didn't want to leave the office without checking on me first.

Dr. K is perfectly professional, yet very genuine and humorous. He is kind, sensitive, yet direct. He helped me to understand what is realistic in my care, not only with him but with my therapist too. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an excellent physician in this field!

Genuinely caring! Tends to run behind because he never rushes you out of the office. Worth waiting to see him (10-15 min)
