I would recommend anyone to Dr.Valea, he is the best...he operated on my Momma almost 4 years ago, she was 83 at the time...I don't think there are enough lines on here for me to describe the comfort, how he put my Mother at ease but he talked to my Mother, they talked about their childhood, whatever came up, he talked to my Mother...most busy doctors and surgeons don't bother with that but not Dr Valea, he was wonderful, as a Surgeon, Doctor and his bedside ways with my Momma were unreal! We went to him every 4 months for 3 years until I lost my Momma last week at the age of 86....I will never ever forget how this man, this wonderful Doctor, cared for my Mother.

I have been going to him for 3 years for treatment and follow up of ovarian cancer. He is very direct and the more I got to know him, the more I liked him and now feel like we are a team/together. He is a very caring and encouraging doctor- he is just careful not to give false hope realizing that patients want him to give them a "security blanket", but he just can't say with certainty the outcome.

Arrogant,insulting and insensitive when I tried to discuss treatment options for ovarian cancer and provided no hope. Combine that with the fact that he was always in a rush and it was not an experience I would wish on anyone.
