I had spinal fusion surgery this past October, I had been in pain in my neck that radiated to my middle fingers for close to 35 years. After exhausting all my options, I met with Dr. Amjadi, who explained the reasons and a solution to help correct the nerve compaction caused by my wonky disks. From the moment I woke up from surgery, I knew the procedure worked as prescribed. I would recommend Dr. A without reservation. Surgery was performed on 10/09/26, and as of today, 2/10/26, I am on my way to a full recovery. Gregg

May 1st was the one-year anniversary of a procedure to fuse C3 - C5. Since the operation I have had very little reoccurrence of any of the issues I had prior to surgery. Dr Amjadi assured me going in that he does good work and if I followed his instructions, I could expect good results... I have not been disappointed. The orthopedist that referred me to Dr. Amjadi assured me that the doctor would not perform surgery unless that was the only alternative to fixing the problem(s). As long as I follow the good doctor's instructions, I should expect nothing but continued improvement. His staff is exceptional as they are very patient focused and personable. I would not hesitate in referring Dr. Amjadi to anyone in need of this type of corrective surgery. He may be a little abrupt at the first meeting, but he has nothing but his patients well being as his focus.

Dr. Amjadi is a no-nonsense, plain-spoken surgery who performed an L4-L5 fusion on me in March 2023. I had been having extreme, almost indescribable pain down one leg and also showing the beginnings of "dropped foot." One year later -- and after following his quite strict and exacting aftercare instructions, I am totally pain-free and have regained full function of my foot. I am now walking 4-5 miles per day and plan to go back to running. I would recommend Dr. Amjadi to anyone.

Dr. Amjadi performed a spinal procedure on my lower back. He is very safety oriented and expects his patients to follow his instructions to the T. Good guy and very good surgeon. HIs staff is top notch also. The procedure went well.

I was referred to Dr Amjadi from Kaiser after an MRI of my back showed an issue with stenosis. I was extremely anti surgery since the pain was minor but my legs would go numb after standing or walking a short period. After less than a minute of his viewing the MRI, he said I don't have to do your surgery but someone had too. I felt so confident in him that we scheduled the surgery the same day It was a 51/2 hr surgery, I went home by noon the next day instead of the 2+ days he expected. I was walking a few hours after the surgery, and I'm writing this 3 weeks post top completely pain free and no numbness. Evidently my degree of near total closing of the spinal canal results in paralyis from the waist down. I can't say enough about this Dr or his staff. They are an unbeatable team! Dr. Amjadi is an exceptional Orthopedic Surgeon! I saw him in October of 2022 for an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. He and his team treated me with care and compassion throughout the whole treatment. Penny helped me out with getting all of my disability insurance taken care of and I really appreciate all of her help. I definitely recommend Dr. Amjadi and his team to anyone that is a need of a well qualified Orthopedic Surgeon!

I was referred out of network from Kaiser for possible back surgery, due to horrific pain in my hip, leg & foot. I Googled the best spine surgeon in Kern County. Dr Amajadi's name was at the top of the list. I read many reviews. I prayed I would be referred to him & I was. Dr Amajadi told me my back was a mess from arthritis. Most specifically, I had a pinched nerve & damaged to L3, 4, 5 & S1. He believed this was where the pain was radiating from & would be the area to address. He could clean up L3, 4 & fuse L5 & S1. He told me he could not guarantee I would be 100% pain-free, but it would hopefully be better. Dr Amajadi is very specific on his role & the patient's role. I am grateful to Dr Amajadi, his staff, his team & Adventist Health Hospital & their team of drs, nurses & staff. All friendly, kind & professional. I had my 1 year checkup yesterday. I was released with no restrictions, no pain & no more back brace!

Went to Dr Amjadi today for post op appointment. After X-rays I was examined and showed X-rays. Dr. Amjadi and I discussed surgery and he answered every question I had. I told him I was so impressed with him and his staff and team from the first visit to today. I no longer have severe pain in my right arm and hand. It doesn’t hurt at all since day after surgery. My neck hurts 80% less than before surgery too. I told him I didn’t have pain after surgery either to my surprise. I did have a mild scratchy throat for a few days and ate soft food for 2 or 3 days then back to normal. I can’t believe the time I wasted worrying about surgery and recovery. I should have had this done long ago. The neck brace is bothersome but I am getting used to having it on and sleeping with it on too. I highly recommend Dr. Amjadi. I am overjoyed and 100% happy with the whole experience.

Dr. Amjadi did an amazing job. I am 15 days post op and no longer have pain in my right arm, shoulder, neck, hand etc. He is straight to the point and blunt. I could not ask for anything more.

Dr Amjadi and all his staff are so amazing. I had been suffering from low back pain that radiated down my leg for such a long time. We tried several things but finally did surgery and I am pain free. His staff helped guide me through everything from day one until the finish. Even when my insurance said it wasn’t necessary Dr. Amjadi and his staff taught my insurance company and got my surgery approved. I would recommend them to anyone.
