Dr. Consens was friendly, knowledgeable, and focused on my sleep problems. After reviewing my personal information, she said, "Why are you here?" I gave her all of the information I had, including data from my calendar and a health app on my phone. She asked many questions, and included my wife. Finally, she gave a possible diagnosis, the reasons that led her there, the probable solution, the way to use the solution over time, and then ordered a sleep evaluation. Several times she asked if I or my wife had questions. It was a full hour of focused consultation, for which I am grateful.

Dr. Consens dismissed my health concerns and what was objectively severely disturbed sleep (verified by polysomnography), and then sighed and rolled her eyes when I cried from frustration during my appointment. Finally she wrote inaccurate information in my medical record that I cannot remove, and it is negatively impacting the care I receive from other providers. I do not trust her, and she has horrible bedside manner. Please stay away from this bad doctor.

Dr. Consens appears very knowledgeable about sleep issues and has great bedside manner. In my first appointment she spent over an hour with me to gain a thorough understanding of my medical history and sleep issues. I was very pleased with my visit with her.
