The exam was fine but the staff completely dropped the ball. They never sent the referral to Lenox Hill Radiology for my biopsy after they said they had faxed it over when I made the app’t. Then it took them an hour to send it over while I sat in the radiology office. This made me lose my position and I ended up waiting another hour. Such incompetence during an extremely stressful moment. Inexcusable. Never going back.

Very dismissive of my issues, which required me to pay another doctor to provide me with a second opinion (that was much more thorough). The office staff is rude and once booked me on a day when the doctor was not even there. Long wait time as well. I absolutely do not recommend.

This docter is so rude its unbelievable. Had i not gone for a third opinion i would have had my gallbladder removed for no reson.i can not belive this woman.she called me to her office asking me why i went to get a second opinion from a real perfestional docter that knows about gallbladders.and i thank god two gastroenteroligsts told me that i was ok didnt need my gallbladder to be removed.shes terrible and i lost my trust in her completely.never going back to her again.

Not only was this doctor extremely unprofessional and rude to my father who was recently diagnosed with cancer, but she was incredibly disrespectful and had zero sense of urgency! We waited over a week to hear back from her regarding time sensitive biopsy results. Finally after getting them and getting into her office, we asked her to fax the results over to the hospital. Instead of understanding she shouted"wait your turn!" and proceeded to call my sick father a "jerk"--- a doctor call a patient a jerk?? Insensitive and unheard of !! I will never return.

Easy to make appointment, but very difficult to get results from tests. Wait time to see the doctor is totally ridiculous. When you call and ask something secretary hangs up without you being able to finish conversation. Dr. C is an excellent doctor but the office procedures are terrible.

She is an excellent and caring physician. Does not rush out her patients!

Unless you are one of her Cypriot friends or family, be prepared to wait a long time, even with an appointment. she's condescending, like someone previously stated. God forbid you ask a question; she feels like you are doubting her skills as a Dr and gets obnoxious. her secretary, Stella, is obnoxious too. Getting a referral from her is like pulling teeth. Would not recommend this doctor at all.

FLORENDIA OR DIA AS MANY PEOPLE KNOW HER IS A PERSON WITH REAL FEELINGS.SHE IS MY PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR FOR MANY YEARS (AND i HARDLY SEE HER), AND YES I WILL ADMIT IT... I AM NOT SCARED OF NIDLLES :) Dr. DIA WILL SAY IT LIKE IT IS. SHE WILL NOT FAKE IT OR LIE TO MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD.TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT.I LIVE IN NJ AND I TRAVEL 1 1/2 HOURS TO GO AND SEE HER, WHEN I NEED TO, AND WHEN IN MANY CASES I'VE CALLED HER AND SHE WAS ABLE TO HELP ME OVER THE PHONE.WHAT OTHER DOCTOR WILL FORCE YOU TO TRAVEL SO THEY CAN CHARGE YOU THE VISIT?

I have never in my entire life been so insulted by a doctor. I am afraid of needles and she actually told me to "Grow up!" She said, "I look at you and I see a little girl. You need to grow up." I'm 32, and yes I'm young looking because I take care of my skin. I am not afraid of many things in life, but I have a fear of needles. This isn't the kind of thing I appreciate being insulted over, and I especially do not like having my character impugned by someone who had known me for all of 3 minutes. She's in a position of power, and I'm vulnerable. She said "Grow up!" several times, including AS I WAS LEAVING. I mean, at that point, she had already drawn the blood. There was no reason on god's green earth for the insults to continue at that point. What good would it do? It was just needlessly cruel. Oh, and by the way? I waited for LITERALLY TWO HOURS.

Brought my mother whom only speaks Greek to see this doctor, with appointment she waited over an hour while sitting in tremendous pain from shingles. Her staff was busy and unresponsive to us. After finally seeing her for 5 minutes and rushed us away, we waited 2 weeks for follow up tests to be scheduled by her staff. Then when the doctor finally called us back with results, she was uninformed of which tests she had sent her to do. I asked for her to review the file please and she was absolutely rude!! Told us to go find another doc if we dont like how she handles her time.
