Dr. Florin A Gaidici, MD

Dr. Giadici will prescribe unnecessary medication that my insurance won’t cover and I have to pay out of pocket, and will order blood work that has nothing to do with the liver and again Medicare and insurance won’t cover and I have to pay out of pocket, this is not good.

I purposely scheduled the first appointment in the morning, 8:30 am, so that I wouldn't have to wait to see the doctor. Well, that didn't work. I arrived at 8:25, did my paperwork 'til 8:35, and waited in the outer office until 9:05. I was then shown to the exam room where my vitals were taken and there I sat until 9:40. I went up front told the lady i had an 8:30 appointment and asked to speak to the Office Manager and she said 'the provider'? What, no the Office Manager and she still didn't know what I was talking about. I told her who I was and that I was leaving; and she said "Do you want to reschedule?" Wow. When I left, the waiting room was full. Don't go there.

Very unprofessional never came in my hospital room to give me results and they prescribed a medicine that I am allergic to

I called for a preventative, baseline colonoscopy. When I checked in a few weeks later, their "patient portal" said I had CANCER. Wow. I was seen for the screening. It went okay. A month later and after the procedure, I asked for a copy of his notes and found out he had Dx codes for things in my past that are no longer an issue and things that are an issue were missing. On the day of the procedure, he hesitated during dictation just before I was put to sleep and I had to prompt him. During the follow-up appointment when I asked him why he Dx me with diarrhea, he said based on lab results (2 months prior). I said , I never used the word Diarrhea, I don't have it. Unless there is a difference in the clinical use and the everyday use then I don't have it. He walked out of the exam room. His office has still not resubmitted the claims to the insurance now 21 days later and I'm getting bills for his office, plus the pathology, and other providers have all submitted to my insurance… with the incorrect Dx code. And a copy has been sent to my PCP with the incorrect information. Oh, and his office still doesn't submit claims electronically. Something HIPPA wants. It saves time and money for insurance, them, us, etc.

I have Ulcerative Colitis. Dr. Gaidici did not diagnose me, in fact he reversed my diagnosis instructing me to come off my meds at once. I agreed reluctantly, thinking he knew something to be good for me, however my Symptoms came back shortly thereafter. He then performed a sigmoid & exclaimed, "Oh yes, you Do have Ulcerative Colitis"!!! As if it were some Revelation. I spent the next year in his office every 2 weeks-month, gradually becoming more and more sick and disabled by excruciating pain and rectal bleeding to which he replied with a cockeye, head tilt and smile that my case, "...wasn't so bad". He did not spend more than 5 minutes with me each visit. He was condescending and contradicted his own instructions from one visit to the next. Baffled, I switched physicians and it has taken almost a year to get on a solid maintenance plan that has me back in remission. I believe Dr. Florin Gaidici's methods are negligent if not criminal.

He was not very personable. I still like I don't know whats going on with my body.

If I could give zero stars I would. The staff was nice and I was seen within 15 minutes of my appointment. However, Dr Gaidici saw me for less than 5 minutes. I basically paid for him to tell me I'm fat and need to lose weight. Then offers to write me a perscription. Are you serious? He didn't ask me any questions, didn't check me at all. He didn't care that my PCP wanted to have things checked. He just said I needed to lose weight. My stomach pain, heartburn, no symptoms were addressed. He didn't want to hear it. So rude. When his staff was asked to schedule a follow up, I refused. I will not return to such a rude environment or a Dr who offers prescription without any consulation.

It is outrageous to me that a Dr. can leave you in an exam room for over an hour and a half without coming in and expressing their deepest regrets for wasting so much time, apparently not to Dr. G! I have never been so insulted in my life, once I brought it to attention to the front office staff that my appointment was at 11:45am and it was now almost 1pm without even a glimpse of the Dr., they simply refunded my money. No apology, no appearance from the Dr., nothing! My time is just a valuable as his, I have advised my PCP to not refer patients to his practice and will tell anyone who listens how angry I am at my experience with this sub-par, so-called medical professional...

I should have done my homework & checked him out before commiting to do my Hep C treatment with him. He only had a staff of 2 to support and run an office w/4 doctors.It was an insane situation.I would never refer anyone to him.I had to go google the questions he was unable to answer.I found he had a medical sanction for using poor judgement in doing a surgery on a patient, when the surgery was not needed, and he had test results that showed that. The patient became septic and died as a result of this unecessary surgery. He is a terrible doctor to trust your life with.

Great communicator! Lots of patience; answers questions with true interest in the patient. I've seen a lot of Gastro Doctors in the last 34 years and he is one of the best!
