Dr. Floyd E Seskin, MD

I had an experience with Dr. Seskin approximately three years ago. I had a bad bladder infection and he was very helpful at the time when I left the hospital but when I returned he did a cystoscope without sedation and he was very abrupt about it and then he told me I needed to have an operation. I had two more follow-up opinions not only do I not need the operation but I did not even have inflammation of my prostate. I’m still angry thinking back that he could’ve really messed me up just to make money

Dr. Seskin was not very friendly when I asked for answers regarding my dad's declining health, which occurred right after his last procedure. He was curt and condescending. The Doctor said he "might have gone too far" and caused "scar tissue" after surgically removing a tumor from outside of my dad's bladder. Dr. Seskin insisted my dad continue receiving therapy using Mitomycin-C every week, which frequently caused him to have urinary tract infections and incontinence. Dr. Seskin delivered the Mitomycin-C into the bladder through a catheter that was inserted through the urethra. That last procedure did my dad in...and he was never the same. I still never received any answers from this doctor.

Horrible office staff. Rude and unprofessional. This Dr is negligent and irresponsible. He does harm to his patients.

Avoid this Dr. if you value your life

Have had severe urological problems since age 18. Am now 66. However, I went to Dr. Seskin and great cured me of multiple urological problems. Dr Seskin is brilliant and painless. Dr Seskin and his staff are friendly, considerate and caring. There’s virtually no wait time. Most highly recommend!

THIS IS THE WORST OFFICE I HAVE EVER CALLED, SHE SAID HER NAME IS JACKIE AND SHE'S THE OFFICE MANAGER. I CALLED TO INQUIRE ABOUT THE PROCESS AND SHE STARTS YELLING. SHE SEEMS TO NOT CARE ABOUT PATIENT CARE. I AM SURE HE IS AN EXCELLENT PHYSICIAN BUT YOU'RE ONLY AS GOOD AS HOW YOUR STAFF GIVE PATIENT AN IMPRESSION OF WHAT THE OFFICE WILL BE REGARDING YOUR CARE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE AND THE FRONT DESK OPERATOR IS MEAN AS WELL.

Called to make an appointment. The front desk made me the appointment but informed me I must pay $180 cash for the first visit consult even though they “accepted” insurance. I spoke with blue cross blue shield (Florida blue) and verified they were in network. The office of dr Seskin explained that they collected the money “just in case” they didn’t pay the whole visit. This billing tactic was new to me but I need to see a urologist ASAP. I needed a specific procedure and spoke with Jackie who is a “nurse” and the office manager. I very nicely asked her the name brand of the equipment that was used. I have had the procedure before and have had success with a specific brand name. Before spending $180 dollars I desired to know which equipment he used. I asked this question to a urologist before and they have always answered right away and very nicely. I am assuming Jackie must been having an extremely bad day. She began to speaking to me in a extremely offensive and rude… manner. She stated I had no need to know the brand name of the equipment. That it didn’t matter. She said she did not know the brand name. I then asked if she could ask the doctor when he came in. She stated no, “I will not remember” when he gets in and she has too many things to do. I then asked if I call back can you when he is there to ask him. She then said no. She said she would have to stop him and ask but there is no guarantee to ask him regarding such a “silly” question. She kept repeating that it was a “silly” question. Every other urologist gladly informed me of the equipment they used. I was so glad that Jackie treated me so rudely and with extreme disrespect. I saved myself $180 dollars and much headache. I could only imagine having a procedure in somewhere as intimate as a urologist’s office and have her walk in with no respect talking in the degrading manner as she did. Unfortunately I was never able to meet Dr Seskin due to his “office manager” and “nurse” Jackie. I bet he is a great guy.I now found out that Jackie is his WIFE!!!! Why would anybody go to such a office unless they want to be abused verbally???

DR. SESKIN'S BEDSIDE MANNER IS SO REFRESHINGLY KIND AND CARING. HE TOOK EXTRA TIME TO EXPLAIN MY HUSBAND'S SURGICAL OPTIONS AND WE GREATLY APPRECIATE HIS PATIENCE IN ANSWERING ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS. SWEET STAFF AS WELL. WE ARE HAPPY TO HAVE FOUND A NEW UROLOGIST AND WILL BE RECOMMENDING HIS SERVICES TO OTHERS.
