Dr. Forrest Stanton Martin, MD

This doctor is incompetent to the point of being dangerous. Among other things, he:a) misread my spouse's biopsies & lab resultsb) accidentally removed a benign growth from my spouse's back -but-c) forgot to remove a growth that he had already diagnosed as malignantd) continued to perform a cryosurgical procedure on me, even after I asked several times to stope) used physical force to restrain me as he continued to perform this proceduref) laughed and called me a coward, when I cried due to the pain from the procedure;g) caused additional pain by his use of physical force -and-h) caused permanent facial scarring by improper use of the tools involved in the procedureAdditionally, his office was dirty and his receptionist was verbally abusive to his patients. She was also very vengeful, as I discovered after coming to the defense of a very ill and elderly lady, that I had seen her treating roughly. She took her revenge by tampering with my medical records, falsifying them to indicate… that I was an admitted drug user, and a long-standing addict. She then spread this false information by phoning several local pharmacies, to whom she also implied that I had stolen some of Dr. Martins prescription slips, and suggested that therefore, the pharmacies should not dispense any medication to me. I learned that she had done this after my pharmacy refused to fill a prescription written by an orthopedist, for pain medication following surgery. The pharmacist stated that he would not fill the prescription because my name was on a state-wide watch list of known addicts, and because he had been advised that I had a history of forging prescriptions.He wouldnt tell me who advised him of this, but he did agree to call the orthopedist to verify the prescription. The orthopedist refused to do so, on the grounds that a reliable source had informed him that I was a addict, who was attempting to receive duplicate prescriptions for pain medication.At this point, the pharmacist told me I would be subject to arrest if I ever again attempted to fill any such prescription. I called the orthopedist several times in an effort to set the record straight, but he refused to speak with me. I was finally told by his staff that it was Dr. Martins rececptionist who had told them that I was an addict, and that she was also the one who alerted the pharmacies. I spoke with Dr, Martin about this, but he laughed it off and told me I was being paranoid.As a result, the orthopedist would no longer treat me, and I recuperated from a difficult surgery with no pain medication whatsoever.
