Dr. Fouad A Al-Qawasmi, MD

Hello, I am a former patient with Dr. Fouad Al-Qawasmi, and I traveled to Jordan and see a doctor in Jordan. I want a copy of the report of patients with HPV and send it to me via e-mail

For my 3 pregnancy I was looking for an OB closer to home and found Dr. Al-Qawasmi. He is an amazing doctor. He answered all my questions each time and helped me overcome my difficulties during my pregnancy. He made sure to always answer all my questions. I end up having an emergency C-section and he made me feel so comfortable in the OR. I’m so happy I was able to find me. I changed my kids to make him their PCP as he is also a Pediatrician. Amazing doctor and highly recommended.

Dr. Al-qawasmi has been such an amazing and caring doctor. This is the 2nd time I come to him for my 2nd pregnancy. His staff is amazing. Wonderful and caring girls that work for him. They always make sure all my questions are answered. I love the way Dr. Al-qawasmi stood by my side during my 2nd pregnany and delivery and made sure my baby and myself were healthy and that is why I came back to him fory 3rd pregnancy.

The doctor was in and out of the room in a flash. I waited 40 minutes in the waiting room and then another 20 in the room for a hi and bye visit. Which was ridiculous because I sat there and saw as he took long in the rooms of his fellow Arabic people but was all too eager to leave me alone with my questions. If it wasn't for the poor girls that work for him I honestly wouldn't have returned. And its such a pity because I witnessed how he degraded them and called them such horrible things in front of patients. If you feel something is wrong with your staff pull them aside and tell them so. Don't take them into a room with a patient to call them incompetent. And you should never call them slow and stupid in front of patients. In fact you should never call them that.

This doctor is a joke! Majority of his staff are rude as well as unprofessional. They have no regard for your privacy as the doctor stood in the hallway questioning me as I sat in the room undressed. He would tell me one thing and say the opposite in the next sentance, so much in fact that when I told him he was backtracking on everything he said he was upset and became even more unprofessional. I have been trying to schedule a surgery with him which according to him was to be done within a week and I have yet to hear back from him about when I will have surgery, all though I have been calling daily. I would avoid this doctor at all costs! Although if you are not able to get another doctor I recommend talking with Sheena (she works in his office) because she is the only one who actually cares and knows what she is talking about.

Person who called with results barley spoke engish so it was very hard to understand what she was saying!

Dr has always been great, I'm not sure about the negative reviews but I'll attest and say he's great, no he's wonderful. I had a difficult pregnancy and delivery but dr Alqawasmi made it so much easier and he works from the heart. This doctor cares about his job and loves what he does but he wants who to treats to trust him and you won't regret it if you do. I was told by many residents and nurses I'll end up with a c section and dr wouldn't let it happen thankfully !!

My biggest complaint is lack of hours and when the Bridgeview office moved to Bedford Park, I never received any information about it happening. Instead, I had to get the information from the Orland Park office's answering service.

the worst doctor ever

I like both dr and his physicians assistant, the office runs a bit messy, but this could be due to their moving. The staff is okay, they could be a little nicer, but they do the best they can
