Dr. Francis Collins is the BEST! DOROTHY & MCKENSIE ARE GREAT PEOPLE/EMPLOYEES!

My first and, so far only, visit was great. He and the staff were very polite and attentive. They focused on getting my information correct. He checked me out and developed a plan while I was in the office. They then did blood test and I received the results in about an hour. He call me to explain the results and concerns. I am so very pleased with the entire staf and the doctor.

The Dr. gave me a new lease on life with the care and effort he serves his patients with. He has without any doubt outdone every other doctor ive delt with. Very efficient and knowledgeable. Grade A+ Top of his profession.

Read for the truth. After months and months of feeling unhealthy, absolutely drained, and totally frustrated at the start of my day without any idea why, I was in Dr. Collins office as a new patient only 3 hours after calling and explaining my situation. Dr. Collins, and his entire office staff were very polite, accommodating, and professional from start to finish while also providing services in a timely manner. With only a $50 initial fee (self pay) for the same day appointment I was evaluated by Dr. Collins, given an x-ray along with several different tests administered via bloodwork all without having to leave the building or wait for any unreasonable amount of time. After a brief wait in the waiting room I was seen by Dr. Collins for a second time that first day with test results discussed and a detailed explanation of what was discovered and what needs to be done next. Dr. Collins talked with me afterwards as if we were long time acquaintances. He never gave me a feeling of… being rushed or moved along and actually walked me to his assistant to discuss when was most convenient for my schedule to return the following business day to have more test taken and another 1 on 1 discussion about the results and what his recommendations and/or remedies for my specific medical situation would be. After arriving and welcomed by staff for the 2nd appointment in two days I again was charged $50 partial fee for more lab work (bloodwork was immediately taken after checking in, I was then allowed to leave and accompany my pregnant wife to her doctors appointment down the road and continuing my earlier appointment after returning) and a 1 on 1 office visit with Dr. Collins to discuss the 2nd set of tests results.. In only 2 visits Dr. Collins was able to pinpoint several important issues needing to be addressed a.s.a.p. This was discovered with only 5 minutes of poor information, explanation, and direction from the patient. Immediately after explaining in detail what was discovered he personally left the room to set up a referral, two future appointments with two different specialists offices, and lastly took the initiative to fix what would have been a future issue with the availability of a 3rd specialist due to me being self pay instead of insured. I took the time to write this long explanation of my first two appointments with Dr. Collins to try and explain how great the experience was, how amazing Dr. Collins and his office are, and to relay the amount of dedication the man has to his profession and to his patients. The speed Dr. Collins obtained answers, the extra effort put into helping a new patient in just two days, the hospitality shown, the dedication and passion still displayed by this Dr. well into a long career, and the many other reasons that set the man apart from all others (best ever delt with, heard about, or seen in my honest opinion). If I was an important, influential, or powerful person in the publics eye id host an event to honor the man.. Since I am not this review will have to suffice. Thank you for your help Dr. F. Collins. You really have made an impact on me with the effort and care you put into serving your patients.

Very straight forward, very thorough and a little witty. In all, I liked him very much. Would recommend anyone with breathing problems to go see him. I felt I was in very good hands.

There may be some physicians as caring and competent as Dr. Collins, but there are none better.

He is a Great doctor!

He has been my husband's and my primary care for over 20 years. My husband died 2 years ago at age 85 after having a stroke 6 years prior. At age 82 he is still my primary care provider and I am in good health thanks to him and the advice he gives.

The wait for Dr Collins is every appointment. Some days it takes hours. I have had appointments that lasted 4 to six hours. This was normal appointments.He is a very good Dr. and has been wonderful to me.

Doesn't mince words: goes directly to the point, relies on tests instead of guesses, keeps up with latest studies, checks back with patients frequently (phones rather than waiting for their next appointment).
