Great doctor with a good personality. Addressed and fixed my issue

Dr Martiniz is a surgeon that personally, I would not return to OR recommend. Prior to a surgical procedure to drain a large abscess, only numbing medication given & was not sufficient. MD ignored requests to stop. Let me say, an IV was in place & pain med had been given when 1st adm to ER, 3 hrs prior. When asked by patient, ‘did you have to hurt me like that?’ MD’s response was simply, ‘I gave numbing medicine’ & walk away. When seen in office, 1 day post discharge, for concerning wound issue, MD took away blood stained dressing, looked at wound, said it’s fine & literally tossed blood soaked dressing material back on to the wound, stood up and had the gall to say he wanted a return appt made. When questioned about the way he left the dressing, his response was, ‘I didn’t contaminate it’ & walked toward the door. After reading this review, if reader still wishes to have this provider surgically care for them, good luck!

Extreme disappointment! Dr. Martinez has no bed side manner. He insulted my intellegance and improperly diagonsised my problem.
