Dr. Francis Gerard Martinis Jr, MD

I was referred to Dr Martinis by my primary Dr. After my 1st consultation I knew he was the right Dr for my treatment. I have been under his care for almost a year. I would not see another Dr if you paid me to switch. He takes his time to explain every step in the treatment process. Keep up the good work Dr Martinis

I went to see Dr Martinis for my first urological issue approximately 2 years ago and have never looked back. Without going into detail I had a minor in office procedure done and I was very anxious. Dr Martinis was great; he spoke to me in easy to understand terms explaining exactly what to expect. He has a great bedside manner and put me at ease right away! The procedure was quick and painless. If your looking for a caring and knowledgeable specialist in the urology feild I highly recommend Dr. Francis Martinis

been going to this dr. for a few years. just called for an appointment with a uti. have to wait 3 weeks!!!! gonna look for a new doctor.

this office was nasty and rude and when you request to speak to the just as rude office manager she is as nasty and un courteous as the staff she manages. i would not recommend a doctor who keeps staff by his side that have no type of compassion for the people that are the ones paying there check

Rude office. Was a patient for many years, and it is not run the same anymore. If you call with pain and a UTI, they don't have any appointments for a week or more. They told me to go to my primary Doctor. In the past, if you were complaining of pain, they fit you right in. The office no longer exhibits compassion. It's just run like a business now. Will be going to another urologist who responds to your pain.

After my first appointment with doctor Martinis we agreed with his staff that there was no need to come in again, so I called and cancelled my follow-up consultation in a timely fashion. A month later I receive a certified letter from Doctor Martinis' office, which I signed for, and opened in great haste. I thought there was a serious medical finding he needed to notify me of. Nope, it seems Doctor Martinis just felt it necessary to notify me, one month after my visit, that he no longer wants to see me as his patient, even though I had no follow-up appointment scheduled. My insurance carrier reduced his bill significantly, unnecessary testing, which he insisted upon, and I protested appropriately. Scared the living daylights out of my wife with that certified letter stunt. I thought it was an emergency. Thank God it's not, but at my age, I just don't need the aggravation. Life's too short to play gotcha games. I expect better from the medical profession. I treat all people… with courtesy, and expect the same in return.

Dr. Martinis told me my husband had cancer while we were standing in the hallway. My husband was bleeding heavily after the removal of a catheter and didn't even hear the diagnosis. When we went for the biopsy results I came with a pad and questions and Dr. Martinis proceeded to yell at me. He then stormed out of the room and yelled to his staff to discharge my husband from his practice. Dr. Martinis has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have ever met, and I would never go back, nor would I want anyone I know to be treated by this man.

Today I visited Dr. Martinis office and received prompt, courteous treatment at the front desk.Dr. Martinis has excellent bedside manner, and provided superb care. He answered all of my questions, and took the time to explain everything to me in detail. I highly recommend him.

I have seen this doctor many times over many years. He is compassionate, very professional and skilled. He has terrific bedside manner. He is an expert surgeon. Other negative comments must be disgruntled patients - they do not know this physician as I do. Highly recommend.
