Dr. Francis Michael Palumbo, MD

Dr. Palumbo, born and raised in Connecticut, has enjoyed living in the Washington area since he attended Georgetown University where he received a B.S. in Biology. He continued his studies at Georgetown where he completed medical school and his pediatric residency. He served as the Director of Georgetown's Children & Youth Ambulatory Services for 10 years before entering private practice. He has maintained his position as Associate Professor of pediatrics at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Palumbo has served as an advisor for the American Academy of Pediatrics and has appeared before Congress as an expert child advocate on the Task Force on Children and Television. Dr. Palumbo has been at Spring Valley Pediatrics for twenty years and is honored to be part of his patients' lives.
Dr. Palumbo enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Sharon, and his beautiful granddaughter. He can also be found sailing in local waters, sampling fine wines, and cheering at a Hoya basketball game.

INSURANCES ACCEPTED
As we do not maintain any contracts with insurance providers, you are responsible for paying Spring Valley Pediatrics directly for medical services. We will send you a bill at the end of the month. You may then submit a copy of the bill to your insurance company and be reimbursed by your insurance company under the terms of your arrangement with them. Our business office can help you to facilitate this process.
