Couldn't be any better. Dr. Alvarez is a true professional and has great communication skills. All the doctors are great and I am so happy to be at the Mayo Clinic.

I have had a double lung transplant since March 12, 2018 and Dr. Alvarez (pulmonologist Transplant Team), is a great professional, to whom I am immensely grateful, for his human quality, in addition to his recognized prestige.

Very, very poor bedside manner with my husband. He and the other lung transplant physicians were directly responsible for the death of my husband because of their lack of concern. They diagnosed his health problems incorrectly and in the process of trying to fix the problems he went to Mayo Clinic with gave him numerous additional medical conditions to contend with. They should have had a medical malpractice suit on their hands.
