Dr. Francisco Ernesto Belette, MD

Dr Belette is a great compassionate doctor and he will explain everything to details. Sadly the front staff are the worst I have ever encountered. I really feel bad for the doctor his practice could be much better but the people that work for him Yadira and Lili are the worst.

My Butt Hole hurts now

My husband Harold was treated by Dr Belette for several months. He had 'zero' iron in his bone marrow. He is now doing well, because of the great care he received, from diagnoses, to all the infusions he went though, he was well cared for by each and every staff member. The entire team was fantastic! Dr Belette spent time explaining everything going on and was very kind to all of us!! He is moving his offices to Miami. Good luck to all of you. We will miss you. Jo and Harold

I was happy to meet Dr. Belltte. He was a nice guy that seemed knowledgeable. However I felt like a piece of cattle moving one room to the next. The days where you have to see the doctor is the worst. It takes forever to get to see the doctor. The worst part of it is he told me I was free from cancer when my other 2 doctors said something different. We needed to wait on the pet scan to see if in fact I was cancer free. In addition I handled the therapy pretty well and can say I felt better in therapy that out. While in therapy I was able to get pain medication which was being treated adequately before I had cancer. On my last appointment with the doctor he told me no more pain medicine and alluded to something about the DEA was gonna think he was selling it to me. He didn't even allow me a 30 day supply so that I could find another doctor. In conclusion I am thinking that he doesn't really care about the patients. In my recent research I also found that one should see the oncologist… once a month for the first year, every two months in the second year. In my case he would see me in more than 2 months.

It seems i always spend over an hour in his office. Belettie spends what time he needs to with his patients and always runs late as a result. Make your appointment his first to avoid the wait. You'll love him.
