Dr. Francisco L Garcia, MD

Dr Garcia is a very good Dr. Unlike others, he cares and listens to his patients. Sometimes too much, which causes him to fall behind on his appointments. While other Drs. run their offices like a factory and only give patients 10 minutes per visit, he will listen to you and give you as much time as you need. Sometimes its frustrating to wait so long, but I have learned to book my appointments early before he starts to fall behind. I like my doctor to look at me while in the exam room instead of the clock.

I've been seeing Dr, Garcia for several years, and kept telling myself things had to improve. They have not, and I'm changing doctors. There are multiple inexcusable problems: failed to diagnose a serious bone disease despite my persistent pain and immobility; referrals take months; prescriptions are so mixed-up they cannot be filled (my pharmacist groans when he sees his prescriptions); refill requests are ignored; his records are in error regarding previous treatments; his preoperative work is not timely delivered to surgeon/hospital; he doesn't consult with requesting specialists; the wait in his office is always interminable- can be up to 2 hours; he does not return phone calls; his staff is disorganized and nonresponsive; he provides misleading information regarding procedures; and generally, as a previous reviewer stated, he behaves as though he would rather be somewhere else. So I am going somewhere else.

I have seeing this Doctor for several years and the office is always clean the staff have always been very professional. I have medical insurance what I've noticed is that the Doctor treats everyone the same insurance or no insurance we are his patients and thats all that matters.

I have actually had this physician for 5 years or so. The office has alway been unclean, old beat up furniture, dirty carpet, caters to welfare recipients mainly and the latino population. Don't have to go to the doctor very often so didn't want to bother with having to find a new doctor or pa.I have actually only seen this doctor once and the guy has absolutely no interest in being there. Never made eye contact, absolutely did not value or show interest in what my concerns with my health were. The last time I went, the staff not only looked greasy, the office was nasty, the bathroom was filthy, no toilet paper, toilet seat covers, soap, or paper towels. The urine cups were all over not sterile. When i complained the Office manager argued with me. That was it. I now have to find another doctor because I won't put myself through that nasty experience again.
