Dr. Francisco Cesar Rugama, MD

Horrible experience there it always seems to be a serious waste of time, the doctor may or may not know what he is doing but his office is a running joke at the expense of their patience time. I had been seeing him for years and the last appointment I had was the last appointment I will ever have with him. Waited 4 hours just to be told he had to leave? I’m still looking for an emoji to share how I feel about them . My dad was a patient if his and when he had a heart attack we found out that Dr Rugama was barred from the practicing at the hospital he was in, then we found out he seems to have that problem with most hospitals, so if you are considering him as a doctor you may want to check which hospitals he is allowed in, before you sign up for that circus ride!!!

There is some what of a wait but the time the Dr takes with his patients make it all worth it. He takes his time with patients while in the room and addresses what ever concerns we may have. He is very attentive and polite and the office staff is friendly and quite helpful.

He started seeing my grandfather after his heart attack. He was always very polite and nice to him and my family, after that my grandmother started seeing him as well and then my mother. Now I go see him my self and what I like about him is that he take his time with you and is not one of those Dr's that's only in the room for 5 mins and are done with you. Dr Rugama takes his time and listens to what you need to say, even when is a complaint about his staff he will address it to them. So to me and my family he is one of the best Dr's we know

Rude and incompetent

I'm really sad.. this Doctor made me feel real bad and I cried after he left my room in mcallen medical hospital..I ask Dr Rugama if I could drink atleast water and why I was not able to eat.. and his answer was ..Why you want food ?you don't need food anyways your fat and have food reserve in your stomach cause your fat.. I've never felt so humiliated and criticised by a doctor.. I would of just walk away from this hospital but I realize.. Its not the hospitals fault..

Arrogant an rude

The wait time is more than 3 hours. The staff if very rude and incompetent. They never fill out the correct papers or get authorization on time. They talk about paients in the office very loudly. The make fun of patients as soon as they step away from the counter. If i hear them talking about others, I am sure they talk about me too. Please do not come here. Doctor, please get a better educated staff. They are a huge liability to you.
