Dr. Frank James Andres, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Andres for seven years, since moving to Florida. What an excellent and caring physician. Dr. Andres has been great in treating me through post menopause. His staff is kind as well. The office is always clean and seems well organized.

After my exam, I was asked to go to the provider's personal office (which I believe was actually the other doctor's office) where he immediately began asking completely inappropriate questions regarding my visit for dyspareunia. He asked if my partner "really does it for me" and if he just "didn't know what he was doing" and told me that I am "really beautiful and maybe my partner just ravishes me without taking time to worry about my arousal." There are clinical ways to discuss dyspareunia and almost NONE of his questions would qualify as clinical or professional. He said again "not to be creepy, but you're really beautiful" and proceeded to ask if my current partner was "bigger" than my previous partners and asked what positions we try and maybe I should get on top. Some of these questions never needed to be asked, some could have been asked professionally but absolutely were not. There is a responsibility to remain professional when addressing someone's health and ESPECIALLY within… the context of a pelvic and breast exam. I have been going to gynecologists (both male and female) for 23 years and I have never had such an unprofessional and disturbing encounter with a physician.

Dr Andres treats patients like friends or family members. He makes a not so comfortable exam feel comfortable and takes time to listen and educate patients. I hope I never leave Jacksonville and need to find a new Gynecologist.

Dr. Andres is an exceptional doctor that clearly puts patients first. He is extremely pleasant and very professional. He was attentive to my concerns and efficiently communicated my next steps. Dr. Andres’ knowledge and compassionate care is nothing short of ahhhhhmazing.

I've seen Dr. Andres once a year for the last 30 year and in 2007 he delivered my only child after a very tough pregnancy. I believe my daughter and I are both alive today because of his amazing care throughout my pregnancy and daughter's birth. Now 16 years later, that baby girl he brought into this word, also sees him once a year for her womanly appointments. There truly is NOT a better Gyno in the world than Dr. Andres

I have been a patient of Dr. Andres for 28 years. I recommend all friends and family to him. The world would be a better place of there were more providers like Dr. Andres.

The best GYN I’ve ever known for over 30 years and he’s been the same patient, kind, and caring doctor. What I love the most is that he take the time to listen and makes sure that you understands. I highly recommend Dr. Andres to all women young and old.

Dr. Andres was my mothers OBGYN years ago and delivered my younger brother. I use to accompany to her appointments and have seen first hand how wonderful he was. I knew when it was time for me to see an OBGYN that Dr. Andres would be my doctor. He is one of the most caring doctors I have had the pleasure of having and his staff is no different and will go the length to make sure all is well. He is down to earth and has a great bedside manner. Dr. Andres does not rush you in and out like most doctors however expect a wait because he takes time with each of his patients and actually listens to them. I would recommend Dr. Andres to anyone seeking a kind, compassionate, and brilliant doctor! It is unfortunate though that he no longer practices obstetrics.

I saw Dr. Andres for the first time a couple of days ago. have severe anxiety, so I was terrified. However, all of my fears were soon gone. Dr. Andres is a kind, caring, patient man. He talked to me in depth about all of my concerns and questions, advised me on my best BC option, and even told me that if I'd be more comfortable somewhere with a female GYN, he would understand. He's definitely getting my patronage, as he is the only doctor around that has made me feel truly safe.

Dr Frank Andres is hands-down one of the best medical doctors i have seen in my 37 years of life! â??I was beyond impressed with my experience at this doctorâ??s office and I was completely blown away by how helpful and kind Dr Frank Andres ! He was really knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment!
