Dr. Frank William Bowden III, MD

Amazing, and professional practice! The wait time is fairly average if not more timely than any other doctors office I've been to, which is surprising with how thorough they are. The staff is so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I wish their raitings on yelp better reflected how great this practice is, but you know what they say, people are more likely to spread word of a negative experience rather than a positive one.

Most patients are told they have dry eye syndrome and are told they they need expensive eye tests not covered by insurance. This office is after deep pockets so buyer beware!

I feel some test and procedures are unnecessary. Medications are forced on you. It appears each visit some new diagnosis is found. I had an appointment at 8:30 am only to find out so did 4 other people.

There are long wait times, but he is the BEST Ophthalmologist in the United States.

Smart man! My family and I have been seeing him for 3 years for a variety of things. He has helped me with my dry eyes, which I have been battling symptoms for YEARS and no other doctor has seemed to know how to help. He has also helped my family with their vision, such as glaucoma issues and corneal problems. I recently had a son and would only trust Dr. Bowden and his associates to treat him.

Dr. Bowden's bedside manner and his willingness to assist me even when I had lots of questions was a god send. I have struggled with dry eyes for years, to the point I carry around eye drops and cant wear eye make up because I use the drops so much. I've visited doctor to doctor and they all shoved drops at me and told me it was allergies. I visited Dr. Bowden and he had a lot of dry eye solutions to help my particular problem. I eventually had the lipiflow procedure which was a relaxing 12 min treatment and I tell you I've barely used drops since! It's not a lifetime cure, I am aware, but I've been 6 months without drops and now wearing my makeup again!!! I feel like a new person.

Wait times are ridiculous. I have seen people walk out. The staff will try to upsell you on lippaflow treatment. I had treatment which was very expensive and got little to no benefit. The doctor was unable to show me any data that supported improvement. I like doctor Bowden very much, however his flow through the system needs alot of improvement.

I've been seeing Dr Bowden for 13 years or more. He's a very busy man but he's worth the wait. I am one of his challenging patients so I am a frequent flier at his office. I come over 3 hours one way to see him and yes sometimes we have to wait but he is very thorough with his patients. I have complete confidence in him and his staff. Tony and the rest of his staff has always been very good to me. They explain the test I am having so I understand what they are doing and why. The ladies up front always call me by my name when I walk in the door. Dr Bowden's office is always busy so that speaks for itself as to how much people appreciate him and his staff.

In a day when medical offices have those windows that you need to tap for attention, phones that answer with machines and staff that barely look at you I found Dr. Bowden's office to be exactly the opposite and refreshing. They are like the Publix of eyecare! Every staff member is courteous and each doctor I have seen (Dr. Bowden and Dr. Darbandi) has been awesome. They are taking care of my Mother and myself. My Mom had cataract surgery and can now see without glasses. How amazing is that? If you want the best, visit these people.
