Best doctor ever but I heard he retired?

My family has been patients of Dr. Furman for over 25 years and he was always spot-on with his diagnoses. He always followed up with a phone call, no matter the time of day - usually at night. No one can ever replace him and the office is just not the same without him. Very sad situation now and it leaves you second-guessing the level of care that is now being provided.

No other doctor can fill his shoes. Devon Family Practice is not the same place since he has gone. As a patient of Dr. Furman's it was always easy to get an appointment with him when you were sick. Since he has left, it's impossible. It's sad, it's just not the same...

Dr. Furman goes above and beyond for his patients. What sets him above others is how he truly cares for each of his patients. My entire family sees Dr. Furman and we have total trust in him. If you call him, he responds quickly. I was in the hospital with cancer and he called to see how I was doing. Every time I've had a mammogram he calls with the results within a day or two, and not because I had cancer... This is what he does for every patient! He calls after office hours because he puts his patients at the top of his list. When I see him in the office he takes his time and talks to me and doesn't treat me like an unknown face in the crowd. He is the best around ! Thank you, Dr. Furman, for all your years of care and devotion.

I tell Dr. Furman that he walks on water because he is such an excellent Doctor. I have been his patient for many years and feel very secure that I am getting the best care possible. He will get back to you with all results or to answer any questions. My entire family is in his care by design. He makes you feel as though you are his only patient. What an amazing gift in this day and age. Thank you.

Dr. F. is one of the few physicians I've known who actually puts his patients and his relationships with them at the top of his list. He makes himself available when we're in need, spends time with us without staring at the clock, and communicates diligently with both caring and a healthy dose of good humor. The entire practice group - partners, nurses and staff - are generally of similar mind and demeanor, and we feel extremely lucky to have them.

Dr. Furman was my family doc for over 20 years. He successfully diagnosed a problem I had years before it became well understood, doing the research and then providing the appropriate treatment. I have moved, but my docs now are saying without his excellent care my functional status would be much lower. I literally owe him my life!! Excellent doc!! I cannot say enough about him.

I am one of Frank Furman's first patients from 1984. He is extremely accurate in his diagnosis and his best attribute is that he listens to the patient. My entire family are Frank's patients and we wouldn't trade him for anything.
