The very worst. Don't waste your time. If your in pain the find another Dr because this one just didn't care that my pain was unbearable. Ordered a pain block that was useless, finally a procedure of injecting cement into my back and the pain got worse after that. I'm certainly seeing a Neuro Surgeon recommended by my PCP

Ordered pain block for me. Total disaster and when I asked for help I was ignored and abandoned. Very bad experience with Hodges.

Dr. Hodges is a first class surgeon and a great guy he is very concerned about his patients and actually call me on a return call to his office after surgery he didn’t talk over you he talks to you if I ever have any orthopedic work done is gonna be done by this guy

He’s an honest, wonderful surgeon. I was hurt in the line of duty and he did my 3 level fusion and I have had NO problems. He has a wonderful bed side manor.

Was in wreck on the job, and the insurance company made me go to there dr who would do what they wanted done. This dr has ignored my life threatening disease , so I had to use my personal insurance. Wasted my time. He's not qualified to do spine surgery & he lied about disc replacement surgery. He's a dishonest Dr.

Dr. Hodges did my back surgery-great guy I believe he actually cares about his patients-thank you for your great healing gifts and compassion.

I came to Dr. Spain Hodges for back pain and herniated disc in my back, but instead of helping me or just telling me he couldn't help me, he sent me to a pain study. I received no treatment in this study for my pain or spine. Dr. Hodges knew I wasn't even qualified for this study because one of my disc was torn. He demanded I get a painful discogram procedure to prove were my pain came from. The discogram showed 3 disc in my back that caused pain. When I did, Hodges said, "Sorry, I don't know what's causing your pain. Live with it." Dr. Hodges never intended to help me in the first place. Because I am a minority, he pushed me into this study he knew I didn't qualify for and when I refused the discogram in the study, he demanded I get one before he treated me. Even when he found out were the pain was coming from, he told me he didn't know what cause my pain and deal with it. I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone, especially minorities. It is not that he doesn't have the skills to… do the job, but he won't give the best treatment someone who is like me would that is needed. This is my opinion, and my warning.

My last Doctor retired and Dr. Hodges was recommended at the same clinic. I highly recommend him. Thanks
