He a good Dr if he can stay awake he did my surgery but in consultation he couldn’t stay awake!!

Please get a second opinion. He nearly let me die as a result of a spinal fluid leak. Infection in brain and blood. Lied on my medical record. I now have weakness in my legs, foot drop and PTSD. I understand that things happen but this was uncalled for. If there was a rating less than 1 that's what it would be.

He ruined my life he let me die on the table he is the most crooked doctor I've ever met he will take your money and your life. If you need an excellent neurosurgeon his name is dr. Michael Hahn out at Mercy

Dr. Frank hugs is a horrible neurosurgeon he ruined my life let me know if he let me go without oxygen for like 20 hours I got sepsis and pneumonia can a urinary tract infection he sent me home knowing I had all that he got let go from his last job because of what happened to me so whatever you do do not let him do any kind of surgery on you he's a horrible person

Too many spinal fusions to count...my whole spine is full of metal...and I thought I was a pretty important patient...but nope...he just left...didnt recommend me to another surgeon...NOTHING! And knowing the things I know now...I cant believe he is still cutting people open...and working on brain and spines!

This dr was my neurosurgeon while he was here in Independence, MO. He did my neck surgery in 2010 and removed bone spurs, but also placed plates from C-4 thru C-6. If i had known that his surgery would be this debilitating, i would never have gone to him. Then there were the withdraws from the Oxycodone he prescribed. He had me on it for 2 years, and instead of slowly tapering me off and letting me know he was doing this, he cut me off completely. Going thru the withdraws from this were more horrid than the surgery. This is, by far, the worst physician i have ever gone to. If i knew then what i know now, i would've gone to another neurosurgeon. 8 years later i am still constantly in pain, causing me to have to retire from my job of over 26 years. Thanks for nothing! Glad your in Oklahoma now and not Missouri.

After 5 surgeries (4 that could have been avoided had Dr Hux used a current MRI for surgery) I am now permanently disabled and suffer from back pain on a daily basis. Dr Hux is incompetent as a surgeon and arrogant as an individual. If I could rate less than a ONE STAR, I would.
